                 Maddy woke from the sound of her alarm. Once she realized she was awake she quickly thought of what happened yesterday. Everything replayed over and over in her head. She tried pushing it away but it kept coming back. She tried to ignore it and got dressed. A few minutes later she was all ready for school she grabbed her keys and walked out the door to her bus stop. As she locked the door all she could think of it why she didn't tell Alex what had happened. she knew she would have to tell him. As she was walking to the bus stop she heard a familiar voice yell behind her.

                   "MADDY WAIT UP!!!" 

                   She turned around to see Roxy running towards her. Once she got to a stop they started walking in silence. Maddy was still thinking of the awful stuff the happened yesterday but she just tried pushing it away. Finally Roxy broke the silence.

                 "So how are you? Did you sleep well?" She said in a concerned voice looking at Maddy questioningly.

                Maddy just stared at the ground ignoring Roxy and thinking of how to tell him.

                " Hellooooo? Earth to Maddy!" Roxy said waving her hand in front of Maddy's face.

               Maddy snaps out of it and looks up at Roxy with confusion. Roxy could see the sadness and fright in her eyes.

              "Are you okay Maddy?" Roxy asked knowing the answer.

             Maddy finally broke her streak of silence. 

             "i never told Alex what happend yesterday and i know i have to tell him. What should i do. I dont keep secrets. All i can think of is how and when to tell him. i mean, i cant just walk up to him and say, oh hey by the way my mom slapped while she was drunk,sorry. Its really all i can think about. HELP ME ROXY HELP!" Maddy said trying to keep the tears in but she felt the cold streak of a tear fall from her cheek.

              Roxy sees Alex walking towards us and quickly says. 

             "maybe you could do it after school and if it helps i will be there to help you."

              Maddy nodded and kept walking towards the stop. Alex and Maddy were quiet the hole time on the bus. Roxy god worried for Maddy. Roxy knew there was something between them two, and she's going to get to the bottom of it. The bus finally landed at its final destination which was a jail called school.

              Maddy makes her way to her locker.  she opens her locker and grabs her language arts text book. Roxy comes up next to her to open her locker. After a moment Alex comes up next to Roxy opening the locker next to her. Roxy looks over at Alex to see him staring at Maddy with I slight smile. Roxy nudges him to tell him she saw that. Alex just roles his eyes blushing lightly. Maddy walks to her first class with Roxy while Alex goes to science class.
