Chapter 55

Daniel's POV

I drive away leaving Anna alone in the dark. "Fuck!", I shout. I can't believe I just left her alone. For fuck sakes what kind of boyfriend leaves their girlfriend out alone .at 12 at night. I quickly make a u-turn and drive back to where I left her but she is already gone. She must be running home by now. I don't care what time it is I am going over to apologize. I cannot lose her from something stupid I said. I should not have even told her about the restraining order. It is stupid. My mom would never go through with it because she doesn't any reason to. Beau is not a threat. He is my girlfriend's brother, my best friend. He will come through one way or another. He can't have his sister be alone forever. He has no choice. He has every right to be mad at me right now but he needs to look past it. We fell in love. I never thought I would fall for Anna but I did. The moment I laid eyes on her. I am not giving up on her. Beau can hate me for the rest of my life but Anna is more important. I know I shouldn't say that but she is. She is my everything. All I care about is her. I love her.

I pull up to Anna's house and park on the street a few houses down. I step out of my car and find myself running to the back of the house. I can't ring the doorbell because it is 12 in the morning and everyone is sleeping. Plus I am positive no one wants me over right now. I walk over to the back of the house where Anna's window is. Her lights are off but there is a small amount of light from her bed side lamp that is on. Her window is opened a crack but I cannot lift it up to climb in. I knock on the window but not to loud, trying to get her attention

Anna's POV

I am distracted by a noise outside my window as I get ready for bed for real this time. Seeing Daniel was a waste of my time. If I would have stayed home we would have never gotten into a fight.

I am pulled from my thoughts once again when I hear a light tap on my window. I walk over to my window and see Daniel standing on the other side of it.

"Daniel what are you doing here!", I whisper but my voice is angry.

"Open the window", he demands.

"No", I reply.

"Anna just open the fucking window before someone notices I am out here".

"Then you better leave", I say but I don't mean. I am happy he has come after me. But then again he hasn't said why he is here. He could have shown up just to yell at me.

"I am not leaving until we talk", he says. He raises an eyebrow waiting for me to open my window and I do. He is still crazy for coming over here. After all that has happened today him sneaking over this later at night will not help in his favour.

He climbs through the window and closes it shut behind him.

"Daniel what are you doing here!", I shout but I am caught off guard when Daniel crashes his lips against mine. I try to push him off of me but he cups my cheeks pulling me close. His tongue fights with mine before I finally give in. His hands travel down my waist pulling me close than before holding me up against his body. His breathing is heavy as his lips break contact with mine. His forehead remains pressed against mine as we both catch out breath.

"I love you Anna", he breathes.

I remain speechless as I stare into his eyes.

"I wasn't lying when I told you nothing is going to break us apart. I am not going to be the reason we fall apart", he says breaking the silence between us.

"You are crazy insane", I giggle quietly pressing my lips against his once more. It amazes me how one kiss can push away the pain and make me forget why I was even mad at him in the first place.
