you never forget your first love, no matter how hard you try. you never forget the way they made you feel, their smile, their eyes, anything. they will be stuck in your heart forever, your mind may forget, but your heart wont. you'll be living your life without the person you thought you'd be with forever. you thought they would help parent your kids. you thought they would be the one you kissed everyday. you thought they would be with you for better or for worse; in sickness and in health, but they aren't. and they never really were. if they were, they wouldn't have left. they would've been there no matter what. they always had something better in their minds. but you only wanted them. they claimed to only want you. and you believed them. why? because their eyes were comvincing. because you thought you could trust them. but you couldnt. they never really cared; and the sad truth is, you did.
