One Wednesday, a duck came to my doorstep, quacking about, "I never expected a duck to come here!" I explained as I talked to my roommate Jay about it, she was stunned, she howled and skidded away, she was scared of ducks quacking for some odd reason, I think they were too loud. I left her to it, and I went to go show James, he wasn't interested, he just shrugged it off. While I went to take a picture of the duck, I found a pile of baby ducks, Jay walked into my room and as soon as she did, all the baby ducks quacked in excitement, she was mortified, I told her to stay calm as I took a picture of the ducks, I printed it out and put it all around town, by the time we were back, the house was stuffed with ducks, they all rushed out into the city and quacked all day long, the next day I was woken up by a group of ducks hollering at my window, I screeched in fear, and blocked my door up, I didn't want Jay to come in, although she just barged into my room, scaring all the ducks away. "Landon, were you pranking me again?" She asked, "I thought you were being attacked by those clueless things!" "Oh, don't try to look out the window, seriously, I haven't even seen what it looks like and its probably a freak show out there." I told her, being her stubborn self, she looked out the window, she died of laughter, I had looked out the window too, and I don't even know how to explain it, I texted James and told him to come over to my apartment, he came over, and looked out the window. "Yep, just as I expected, millions."
Chapter 2: Helping Hand
"What have we done! We need to lure all these ducks away from the city, but how will we be able to do it!" I said, frantically, "I heard they like chocolate cake!" Jay said, "what a great solution! Chocolate cake! Your SO not gonna eat it before we use it!" James said, sarcastically, "wow! Lures! Thanks for the idea! I'm not gonna use chocolate cake though, James, what would you say?" I said, with great confidence, "we could use seeds I guess," he shrugged, "perfect! I've got a garden going and I've gotten a few extra seeds we could use!" Jay said, "how about we capture the duck that started it all! We could just use some help." I explained proudly.
Chapter 3: Saving them all
"Let's get them!"I chanted as we headed out the door, it was pouring rain with thunder, lightning struck one of the ducks, we all leaped to avoid the quakes. Jay rushed to her garden to grab some seeds, while James and I kept an eye on the ducks, the duck that got struck by the lightning grew larger some how, Jay was scared when she had come back to the front porch as she saw the duck consuming the city, we had all grabbed a hand fulls of seeds and tossed some at one place, more at another, until we used all the seeds, we had grabbed the seeds back just in time, and we had showed them to the ducks, we had ran far out into the plains and as we were getting in, James got stomped to the ground by the horde of ducks, he had the big duck on him, so I quickly threw the seeds into the plains and the ducks rushed to get them, yet only my ducks, I had done a double backflip over the big duck and I had pulled James out. They threw out they're seeds and we all made a dash for the city, James had held one duck in his arm, a baby duck, and we kept him as a pet, we had saved the city and we're now known as heroes, being interviewed and recorded, we were famous.
