Horus's Coronation

Ravana's P.O.V

After traveling the desert for 3 days, we finally reached Egypt. The good thing is that his coronation was just beginning. I saw my mother standing next to Osiris and his wife. After Osiris was finished with his speech, and was about to crown Horus. It was hard to see how handsome he got over the years. I was knocked out of my thoughts, when Set walked through the middle of the crowd of followers.

"Wait! Sorry I'm late, three days to cross the desert and nearly one more to cross through all your admires."

"Set?" Osiris said as he hugged him. "Brother, good to see you." Set replied. Osiris smiled and said, "And you brother. There's always a place for you here." Set looked around the room and said, "Such a big day for the family, you must be proud." Then Osiris smiled, turned toward Horus and stated,"I am." Set smiled a fake smile and said to Horus, "Look at you nephew! Magnificent, at least someone here well make a fine king." "I was afraid you wouldn't come." Said Horus as he pulled back from the hug.

Set smirked and replied,"No, I wouldn't miss it. Ha! For you." He said as his servant brought a box and kneeled in front of Horus. "A hunting horn, carved from a bull that killed 10 men lower than me."

Set gifted Horus with a horn. Horus looked like a kid at the market when he got it. I smirked as he blew it signaling Set's army to come. "I think someone heard you." When they arrived Osiris said,"What is this, Set?!" I walked on stage along with Kai, Roman, Lila, and Adonis and everyone gasped and started whispering, "I thought she was dead." My mother looked at me and her eyes watered as she ran over to me and gave me a hug. Osiris, on the other hand, looked pissed.

Set held up a spear and and Osiris, "You recognize this?" Osiris looked at it warily before reluctantly grabbing it and responding, " Father gave it to you." Set nodes his head and walked over to the edge of the stage where a guard stood with a spear in his hand, "Kept me alive for a million nights in the desert. Fight me." What the hell is Set doing? Horus had fear in his eyes as he walked over to his father. "Father don't!" Osiris raised the spear at his son. "Stay out of this, son! Why?"

Set raised his eyebrow and replied, "In a thousand years of peace. What have you accomplished? A land of people who dream of nothing more? It's my turn now." He punched his chest softly. "I won't fight you ,brother! I love you, brother, with all my heart!" He said as he put the spear down and walked towards him with open arms. I screamed as Set stabbed Osiris in the stomach." I love you too, brother."

Osiris fell to the ground with only Horus to hold him up. "No!" my mother shouted as she ran towards him crying. I walked up to Set and punched his chest, which was like steel and shifted in his face, "This wasn't part of the deal, Set! What the hell is wrong with you? You want the crown so bad you'd kill your own brother?!" He looked down at me with an emotion I couldn't explain and pushed me aside, gently.

"Well this truly is a big day for the family! I Set, shall be your one true king! King of all Egypt! Behold the fate of those who stand in my way! Gods bow before me or die, Mortals worship me or be enslaved. My brother, thought the afterlife was a gift, I think a should have higher standards! From now on you'll have to buy your way in with riches earned!"

The servant that held the horn gave Set a shield and spear. I stood next to my mother as she didn't bow. Horus looked up from his father's body, rage in his eyes and grabbed the shield his father abandoned.

He headed towards Set's heart only for him to easily dodge the attack. He kept at that for a while until Set's clinked with his.

Set spun his spear carelessly as Horus says,"I looked up to you." Set had a smug smile on his face and replied,"Of course you did." With that said Horus tried to attack only for Set to trip him making him fall on his back. Set strikes at Set's face only for him to get hit in the chin, I grimace at the sound.

They kept at it not even stopping to take a breath until Set mocked Horus." Is it true you still never miss? Doesn't it get dull?" He mocked with a smirk. Horus raised his spear and chucked it at Set.

Who at the last moment blinded him with rays from his shield, causing it to go straight into the pillar behind him." I thought your sight was perfect." Set says as Horus goes for his spear and breaks Set's shield.

They continued fighting until Horus thought it was wise to fight in their God forms. Right now Set is kicking Horus's ass. Set's army used they're shields to blind Horus while they fought. After he knocked Horus down he said," I'm doing Egypt a favor, your not fit to be a king." Then he started ripping Horus's eyes out causing him to scream. Hathor stood up and stopped Set when she walked over to him and kissed him on the lips before bowing down.

"Whore?" I whispered in my mother's ear already knowing the answer. "Whore." My mother confirmed as she grabbed my hand and led me outside.

We got in her carriage and went to her temple which was my old home. My mother rushed me up stairs and opened a room that I was never allowed in. "Hurry we haven't much time before he comes!" She yelled as she pushed a brick opening yet another room rushed me inside and sat me on the bed. Roman and Kai came in right after me and sat on both sides. My mom grabbed their their hands and led them to a corner in the room.

Isis (Ravana's mother) P.O.V

"Boys I need you to take care of my Ravana, don't let Set get to her and no matter what, don't leave this room until tomorrow. Set should be here to finish me off by tonight."  I whispered to them, they both looked confused.

Roman seemed to understand after a short period of time. "Come with us Iris, Ravana has already lost one parent should she'd be broken if she lost another." I look him in the eyes and shake my head no.

I didn't want to die, but what choice do I have? Whether I  bow down to him or not I'm dead either way. We walked back to Ravana and I grabbed her hand, kissed her hand, and put my other hand on her head and put her to sleep. "Give this to her when all of this is over." I quickly said as I heard in the entrance of my temple breaking. I kissed both of their heads and rushed out of the room and down the stairs.

The door fell off of its hinges and Set walked in with his spear in his hand. He grinned sickly and stood to the front of me and bowed mockingly, "Hello sister, how was your day? I do hope you enjoyed the show. I know it must've been sad to see your favorite big brother die, by the hands of your least favorite." I signed and rubbed his face with my right hand.
"I could never choose between Osiris or you. So Tea did that for me, unfortunately either way you're going to kill me. I'm to much of a risk for you to keep alive. Wouldn't want to run you plans now would we?" I said with a smirk on my face.

He looked at me with a regret in his eyes as he stabbed me in the stomach. I smiled sadly at him. He grabbed my waist and gently put me on the floor. He went to walk out of my temple, but I grabbed his hand silently asking him to stay. He let out a shaky breath and sat down next to me.

" Set, y-you were al-always my favorite. I-I love you, brother."I said before my life turned to darkness.

Ravana's P.O.V

I woke up on the bed with Roman and Kai looking down at me with sad eyes. I looked around the room with a smile on my face glad to see my mother. My mother wasn't there.

My smile immediately left my face in confusion. I stood up from the bed and run to the door to find it locked. I light one of my hands on fire before I punch the center of the door.

Running down the stairs I see feet hanging around the conner of the end. I turn the corner and scream as I see mother on the floor. Her white dressed stained with gold.

I drop to the floor next to her body and lift her head into my lap gently. "Mother? Mother wake up. Please. You can't leave me. Don't leave me." I cry out as I start rocking with my mother's corpse.

I see the handle of a knife stuck inside of my mother stomach and go to pull it out. On the handle of the knife is an symbol. Set's symbol. I came to realization of what had happened while I was sleep. My mother was dead. Set had killed her.

My tears dried out as I thought of how betrayed I felt. I felt my sadness vanish and be replaced with rage.

He killed Osiris, he killed my mother, and he has killed the littlest bit of happiness that he will ever have.
