Chapter 17-Matchmaker Conference

Lucy's POV

My eyes fluttered open and the unfamiliar household decorations came into view. I blinked twice as I started to register what had happened recently and why did I end up here.

Oh yeah. We're staying with Crime Sorciere!

Silly me.

Even though I'm not working for Sorcerer Weekly anymore, I still can't help but to wake up early.

After some wash-ups, I'm on my way to Crime Sorciere's guild hall, which is just beside the house I'm staying.

As I stepped into the main hall, the familiar navy and pink haired duo came into view.

To be honest, I envy them. Although they aren't blood related but their relationship is far beyond that bond.

How I wish mom and dad were here.

"Quite a morning bird we have here." Ultear smiled warmly at me, and so as Meredy, while preparing the food.

"I'm just used to get up early that's all." I smiled back.

Seemingly, they are the main cook of Crime Sorciere. They are the one in charge of preparing dishes yesterday.

And let me tell you, they are very good at this.

Meredy looked at me with a pair of concern-filled eyes. "Don't you want to rest for a little while? You are still recovering from your injuries."

"Don't worry. I'm all better now." I gave her a reassuring smile. My wounds were mostly recovered, it must be thanks to Prolucyca. Though there's still a little dizziness lingering in my head.

Mira walked in and we greeted each other and started to eat. Meredy and Ultear soon joined us after placing the food into place for the others to eat.

"So, what's the plan?"

Narrator's POV

If you're wondering since when did Ultear, Meredy, Lucy and Mirajane get this close to each other, it all began yesterday ......

"A year has passed and they are still as crazy as always." Lucy sweat-dropped.

The whole guild is creating ruckus everywhere, Guess I don't have to explain more aren't I? XD

 Luckily they didn't cause  any destruction --uhm... big destruction to Crime Sorciere's guild hall. After all, they are just visitors. Destroying someone's guild hall when they first met isn't really respectful after all. 

Ehm.... let's ignore Natsu who actually intruded Sabertooth's guildhall in Grand Magic Games shall we?

Anyway, as the others are fighting and drinking with each other, Lucy went to the bar and chat with Mira.

"This is Fairy Tail after all. Well, except that this time Crime Sorciere have joined the party too." Mira smiled as she wiped the glass clean. 

By the way, she and Kinana have took the job as the bartender again, as they insist to serve Fairy Tail and Crime Sorciere.

"Things are happening so fast and I nearly can't keep up with it. To think that I was a reporter several months ago and now I am back as a mage again." Lucy confessed.

Things were pretty rough back then and now it's starting to get better don't you think? For a mage, battle and mission suits them better rather than a normal civilian life.
