I stood there, as still as i could be, with my back pressed against the cool cement.  If they found me I would be sent to Juvie for what they thought I had done.  Being framed for something i did not commit was the last possible thing i thought would happen to me.. I never got in trouble, was an A student and was on the Honors Society.  I was always nice to every one but apparently not nice enough because some one hated me enough to frame me and have all the evidence point back to me.  This is the reason why right now I'm stuck in a cold, dank ally, shivering uncontrollably from the thought that my whole life could be ruined by what I am about to do.  But I have to do this, I have to prove my innocence before time runs out. And if time does run out, well, I'm screwed.

As the flashing lights of the Police disappeared around the corner I unlocked my stiff joints and sagged forward from the weight of my over stuffed back pack.  I tucked my hair into my hood and emerged from the ally with my head down hoping no one would notice me. See when you live in a small town like Burnham every one knows every one. This meant for me I had to get out fast. I headed towards the bus station and pulled out the bus schedule form my back pocket. I studied it for awhile until I heard some one walk up beside me. I tugged my hood down further over my face and looked the other way. Please don't notice me! Please don't notice me!

"Excuse me miss.." The deep rasping voice said.

"Do you mind if I borrow your bus Schedule for a moment?"

I slowly nodded my head yes and handed it to him with out as so much of a glance towards his way.

He thanked me and glanced at the bus schedule for a few minutes before he gave it back.

As soon as the bus came I jumped on it and went to the back. The man sat a few seats ahead of me and I took that as my chance to check him out. He was wearing a blazer with black dress pants and a hat.  I instantly recognized his attire from earlier today. He was the detective from out of state that interrogated me. I scrunched back into my seat and pulled my back pack onto my lap.  He can not see me. I have gotten too close to being caught already and i haven't even gotten out of Burnham.

He got off a few stops later and i sighed with releif. That was too close. I took my back pack and laid it down in the seat. I laid my head down on it and closed my eyes. Where ever I wake up is where i am staying for awhile. Once  I get there I can find some leads on my framing and the person who did it.

I slowly closed my eyes and drifted to sleep knowing that the next time i wake up my life will never be the same.
