"Bartender, keep the drinks coming. Matter a fact, just get me the whole bottle of whiskey." I said after downing my third glass. He just nodded and went to get the bottle.
"Long day, huh." A familiar voice said from behind me. I turned around to come face to face with Grace.
I just turned around and chuckled,"Yeah. And what about you? I thought a lady of your status only drink at places like Haven not a unknown bar in Suburbia."
"Yeah well sometimes I need a breather from the money and just dial it back some. But by the way you're dressing I figure you need one too."
"Yeah, something like that."
The bartender came back with a small bottle of whiskey and two glasses. Grace sat down and took one of the glass cups. "May I?"
I poured her some and then me. "Cheers to having a breather from our lives."
She clinked her glass against mine and downed it all in one go. "Ahh, that hit the spot. Hit me again."
I just poured another glass and looked at her in awe. It went like that for until the bottle was almost empty.
"You must really love your alcohol." I replied looking at the almost empty bottle.
"Y-Yerp. Tis great." She slurred a bit. She was rocking a bit in her seat like she was about to pass out. Sigh, I forgot how much of a lightweight she is. Great now I gotta call her a taxi, could this day get any worse?
"Okay Grace, I think its time to go." I suggested getting out my seat. I left to pay the bartender and came back to Grace passed out.
"Grace. Grace...Grace wake up." I called out shaking her a bit but she wouldn't get up.
I ended up carrying her out the bar on my back. "Taxi!"
"Where to sir?" He asked and the only thing I could think of is 'Shit! I don't know!!'

"A room please." I walked up towards the front desk. The worker looked like he was in his mid-thirties. He had brown hair which was pulled back in a short ponytail.
"Yes sir and what kind of suite do you want?" He asked looking up at me from his computer.
"Just a regular one with a king-side bed." I answered pulling out my credit card and a letter.
"Very good and how many nights will you be staying?"
"Only for tonight. This isn't for me but my friend over there. Also, can you bring her breakfast in the morning and give this letter to her. I will pay any extra fee if there is any."
"Very well sir, now I just need your card and the letter."
I gave him my card and waited for him to give it back before handing in the letter. I gave him the letter and took my room key.
I went to get an unconscious Grace from the lounge and carried her all the way towards the fifth floor using the elevator of course. I'm strong but not that strong, plus she's a little heavy.
We arrived at the suite and I knew I was wrong but I couldn't help but throw her on the bed. Did I mention she was heavy because I swear I thought I was carrying a grown ass man on my back instead of a CEO's wife. After leaving her in the bed, I got her a bucket from the bathroom and placed it by her side just in case she throws up. I didn't feel like going to work so, I called in sick.
As I waited outside for another taxi I saw the same mysterious lady out there too.
"Mr. Cedric, another letter from the boss." She said handing me another fancy envelope with the seal.
