Emotionless

I wake up. Emotionless. Faceless. Like I always do. I don't see anything. I can only feel what's around me. I get up feeling the cold air straight away, it's like its hugging me. I try to reach for my dressing gown and successfully put it around me feeling the cold air disintegrate. I find my way to my shelf and reach out for a jagardy object. I pick the object up and apply it around my face. Opening my eyes, an intense brightness comes into my view. I squint my eyes a little trying to recover and adjust to this new light. I walk over to my mirror to see a reflection looking back at me. It's like it was trying to reach into me. Her face was emotionless. She looked like she was dying on the inside. There was no smile, no shine in her eyes. She looked dull and miserable, just like I feel.

I walk out of my room with my hands across my chest. Shivering I walk to the heater and turn it on warming myself up a little before heading to the kitchen. I grab my breakfast and sit down at my wooden table. I looked up at the clock and realise I'm running late. I take my breakfast to the sink and walk back to my bedroom. I look through my closet and pick out a pair of black jeans and and a t-shirt with a black hoodie. I go back to my shelf and take off the object that is around my face. I am greeted with darkness once again and pick up a different jagardy object and apply it around my face. I walk back to the mirror to face the same girl, but she looks different. She's smiling. It looks as if it is almost fake and put on. I sigh and with that I walk out of my house.
