Levi-

I walk out in to the village and I see all the villagers seeming too happy for their own good.

This town was too cheerful. But it was home.
I walked around and saw the children starting to wonder off in to the wood.

"Be careful kids." I yelled and they jumped turning to face me.
Fear and excitement was plastered on their faces.
"Yes sir. Captain Levi sir!" They hollered back and I smirked.

Dumb ass kids.

I began walking to the bakery to get some bread. But before I could get in to the line someone hit me and we fell in to the fresh snow.
I grabbed out my knife and pointed it towards the culprit.
I sighed as I realized it was Hanji. That idiot.
"What do you think your doing?" I asked and she got up brushing herself off.
"Just saying good morning" she replied quickly and I sighed.
I went back to line up for my bread and Hanji stood behind me.
"Levi" she whispered as she poked my side.
"What?" I growled and she just showed her annoying smile before replying "Do you want to see my new experiment?" I rolled my eyes. "No, I don't want to see your experiment shitty glasses." She pouted for a second then relaxed and skipped off.
I shook my head and got my bread before heading back home.

My nose starts to get cold and I could tell its going to snow again soon.
I sigh and grip the bread tighter.
I pull my scarf over my nose and keep heading towards my home.

A piercing scream is heard throughout the village I turn to face the scream.
It came from the forest.
I ran towards the screeching noise and remember the kids heading to the Forest.

Stupid kids.
Just as I was about to enter the forest 3 of the 4 kids came screaming out.
"They-they to-took billy!! " the kids yelled and ran to their houses covered in blood.

I turned to the forest before sprinting in.
Red liquid was in the snow, it should be easy to find the lost kid.

"Stupid kids" I murmured as I ran deeper in to the forest.
I told them to be careful.
Dumb asses.

I ran further in to the forest.
The forest was said to have a curse on it and that there was a monster and only those extremely stupid or extremely brave would come in here.
I cursed under my breath as the red trail had disappeared.
A rustle was heard to my left and I turned to face the noise with my knife in my hands.
"Show yourself!" I yelled and a man in a dark cloak came out carrying a small boy.
The mans face was covered by a scarf and a pair of steampunk style goggles.
"Don't come back here," the man said as he placed the boy on the fresh snow.
"Who the hell are you?" I yelled angrily but the man didn't reply he jumped to a nearby tree and fled away.

What the hell?
Who was that??
