A/N
In this book, Misty and Cordelia are adults.[Misty]
I stepped outside my door and walked to Cordelia's. We hadn't talked since that one day I got really drunk. I miss her. I heard her and her girlfriend broke up, and I've wanted to talk to her for the longest time.I took a deep breath and knocked. Within seconds the door opened and she appeared. She's barely changed, just grown up. Her hair pulled back into a ponytail, wearing a white sweater and a black skirt. She looked beautiful.
"Misty, uh hey." She smiled. "Come in"
I smiled and came in. Nothing has changed, the apartment the same way I remember, even though I don't remember much. The couch still in the same place, the TV on the wall, and plants on the windowsill.
"So um, how've you been?" Cordelia asked as she sat down on the couch.
"Uh, I'm, I'm good. I own the flower shop now." Did that sound cocky?
"That's good, have you met anyone?" She played with her sleeve as she asked.
Laughing quietly, I spoke. "No I actually haven't, I haven't really been interested in finding someone." I mean I have, but I just want Cordelia.
Her eyes lit up for a second, locking onto mine. Her eyes. Dark brown like chocolate, or black coffee.
She nodded and cleared her throat. "I just ordered pizza, if you want to stay for dinner."
I nodded and smiled. I remember dinner with her, always eating in her room.
In a few minutes, the pizza was here. She took the box and payed the delivery guy, then shut the door. She brought the box to the couch.
She pulled out a slice of pizza and handed it to me. We both ate it as soft music played from her bedroom. After she finished eating, she just looked out the window. And as I watched her look out the window admiring the sunset, it brought back so many memories that I tried so hard to forget. And I knew that it wasn't over, no, it won't ever be over.
At that moment, I realized that I am madly in love with Cordelia Goode.
