Chapter One

*Liv's P.O.V*
It was 11 am on Friday the 17th June and today it was one/three of my best friends 18th Birthday. Normally it's me, Amelia and Sophie who celebrate each other's birthdays as we were all best friends. However, when Sophie turned 19 she moved to America where she met her boyfriend Derek. So tonight it was just me and Amelia but we didn't care. I was going round hers at 2 so I had 3 hours to have food and get everything packed ready for America tomorrow!

I put some jeans and a crop top to travel to Amelia's in and packed some clothes and pjs as well as my suitcase ready for America. I straightened my hair and had a wee before shutting the bathroom door and making my way downstairs, grabbing my coat and bag on the way. It was now 1 pm so I had an hour to get too hers and luckily it only took 30 minutes on the train and then a 10 minute walk. I reached the train station and got on the train. My earphones went in and the world blocked out.

*Amelia's P.O.V*
3pm and liv had been here for an hour and a half. We had 3 more hours to eat and get ready as we were going clubbing tonight at 6 for my birthday.

I heard a knock on the door so I went and answered it. Liv of course. "Liv!" I screamed instantly hugging her but being careful because she had like 3 bags. "Amelia omg! Happy 18th!" She shouted back. Yes. I'm 18. Sophie is 19 and Liv is 17. Meaning Liv is the youngest. We all met back in secondary school. I and Liv were in the same year and class from year 7 to 11 and we met Sophie in year 9 when we went on a school trip and Sophie had just finished her exams. "Here you go birthday girl" Liv said smiling and handing me 2 bags and a balloon. At this we ran inside into the front room where I opened the presents. Liv was going to America tomorrow and so was I but I was only going for a few days as I couldn't afford to go for the 2 weeks liv was. She bought me Chanel perfume, mac make – up, a phone case, a photo of us, some shoes and a couple of bags. Then it was the card which read;

Dear Amelia,
It's weird to think that this time 6/7 years ago we first met in a horrible secondary school classroom. You've been my best friend since then and like a bigger sister too me. You've helped me through so much. Weather that was school related, friend related, family related or boy related trouble so thank you so much. I wouldn't know what to do without you. I hope you enjoy your presents and enjoy your night out! I can only drink coke and water as I'm not legal yet lol so feel lucky you can drink! I can't waittttt for America tomorrow but I felt so so so bad that you're not going to be with me and Sophie for the 2 weeks soooooo I bought you the rest of the 2 weeks so you're stopping with us for 2 weeks! Sophie and her boyfriend Derek have these mates who said we can all go crash there so I only had to pay for the flight back! Hope you gave an amazing birthday as you deserve it and I hope you enjoy your presents.

"Liv omg seriously?!" I said staring at her then back at the card and then back at her again. "I'm going to America for 2 weeks?!" She looked at me and nodded. "Yes you are sweet cheeks!!!" She jumped on me and I hugged her. Best Birthday ever.

*Liv's P.O.V*
We'd been in the club for about 1 hour and we were already drunk. We went over to the bar to get a tray full of shots and Amelia was already talking to some other people. As I got to the bar I saw the person I least wanted to see at my best mates party. My ex, Sam. I tried not to get him to notice me as I didn't want to speak to him but oh yes of course me being the unlucky person I am he spotted me and started talking to me. "Liv omg hey it's been a while!" He said turning to face me properly and smiling. I have to admit though he does have a really cute smile. "Sam, I've been great since we broke up." I said grinning sarcastically. Whilst me and Sam were dating her cheated on me 6 times. The first 5 times I didn't know about until someone told me and then the last time I caught him in the act. "Liv" He said sighing and moving closer. "I've come to apologise. I know I didn't really apologise properly when we broke up but I am really sorry. You know how much I loved you and still love you now. Please take me back, I p;romise Ill be a better boyfriend." I looked at him in the eye and knew he meant it and I do miss him...
