Chapter 1: Hatred
*Ring ring*
“Hmm-hmm” I moaned.
*Ring ring*
“Ugh. Shitty alarmclock.”I slapped the clock half asleep, half awake. I stretched my body, crawled from side to side, rubbed my eyes and sat on the side part of my bed. I fully opened my eyes and looked down to the stupid alarm clock that fell from the side table since I slapped it to get quiet. I picked it up and put it back to the place where it was put, I stared at it for a while not knowing why I set it up. I haven’t got any appointments now but… school.
“Shit, I’m almost late.” I stated as a sign of realization.
I quickly went to my bathroom and took a quick shower, brushed my teeth, and put on some clothes that fits me very nicely, as a matter of fact I don’t want to dress like shit because dressing-up is what I love, I also put some light make-ups on. I went to the mirror and looked at my reflection, my blonde hair was going to directions gracefully, my green eyes looked beautiful and alive, my mouth looked sexy and kissable and my skin was flawless as Snow White’s, and I giggled about how beautiful I am. When I was finish chanting, ‘how beautiful I am’ in my mind (Okay, I’m really confident about what I am and I’m so grateful about it)I quickly went downstairs to go directly to the front door and go directly to school.
“Uh-uh, Megan” I stopped as Mom called me over from the dining room preparing cereals for breakfast. “Breakfast first it’s the most important meal of all days.”
My mom, she’s giving me such many reminders because she works as a Doctor in one of the most high-facilitated hospitals on the city, so yeah, she kind of like cares about me a lot.
“But Mom, I’m going to be late, I don’t want that and you know that.” I pout as a sign of pleading her to accept my excuse. I also don’t want to be late at school again because I want some changes.
“Yeah, but eat first because I don’t want you to get hungry at school and skip classes because you went to the cafeteria and eat there because you’re hungry, and it’s not good, you know that.”
“Okay Mom, if that’s what you’re saying.” I quickly grabbed a bowl and ate it.
“Megan, I will give you a ride school and I’ll give you some extra money because I will be home late.”
“Okay Mom, so is there a problem at the hospital?”
“Yes, because there is a patient who got some serious heart problem and he’s now in the ICU. I hope they’re going to be fine.” My mom gave me a tired look, and you can tell that she’s stressed.
“They will be Mom.”
After Mom drove me to school I kissed her cheek and said goodbye to her, it’s like our habit. I watched the car as it went away waving my hand gesturing goodbye to my Mom, who’s surely looking at her side mirror.
“Here we go.” I talked to myself as I turned around facing the school’s building. I went inside. As I was inside the building, I walked through the hallways, every eye was lending on me others were daydreaming and others were throwing hateful glares at me, they probably hate me and I definitely don’t like it, they let me pass through. I can tell, I am quite popular in school, I don’t care about what they think of me, and I don’t know why they chose me as the popular girl in school. I don’t know really, I also am not a cheerleader because based on the movies, cheerleaders are the popular ones, but I can see that they are picturing me as one. They are looking weird to me, really. They’re acting like they’re praising my beauty. I giggled about my thoughts. I’m like gaining confidence because of everyone.
