Third person pov
A horse speed through the town of Berk along with its recent 20 year old rider. Everyone in town smiled seeing the familiar red headed having her daily Wednesday routine.

"Come on Angus!" Shouted the rider excitedly  with a big smile on her face. As soon as they hit the forest the young woman started shooting arrows with her bow at targets already placed in different areas of the forest. She had a good arm for a girl. She was truly focus when it came to archery, you could see it in her eyes, that it was her passion.

She chuckled as she hit a target already filled with other arrows from her previous routine.
They soon came to a stop at a river and down came a medium height girl with redish locks of curly hair and really clear blue eyes. She was a very unique girl with a small nose and a round face but she was the definition of beauty and rare. Her name was Merida.

She was the daughter of the town's mayor Fergus along with his wife Eleanor and his three small triplets sons.
But she was the next in line to take over and with that, came marriage. She absolutely refused such ridiculous idea, she never believed in forced loved, she thought that love was with time. But she was convinced that nobody had that type of love anymore and that love today was foolish and that it did not exist anymore, all she wanted now was freedom.

"Well Angus what did you think about my aim today, it was quite alright but I felt it could of been better..hmmm..."

Her Clydesdale horse neighed in response and went back to eating grass.

"Och your right my grip was a little unbalanced but it's not my fault, my mother had me do "proper lady" chores...I'm just tired... " she said as she sighed

The horse neighed once again as if understanding her owner

"Oh shut it you big piece of meat."
"Next time you'll see, I'll do better than all the times combined."

At this remark she ended up receiving a whip from Angus's tail in her face.

She glared at her companion but continued walking down the river, Angus following right beside.

"Well we should do something before sundown comes and I'm forced to be a lady once more."
Merida rolled her eyes at the thought of having boring lessons again.

They continued to walk along the river bank and soon came to a waterfall, Merida soon had an idea and she put it to work. She started to climb the side mountain that was beside the waterfall.

As she almost reached the top, her hand had missed a position that made her stumble, this made Angus nervously neigh, but very quickly she gain a grip and nervously chuckled.
Once she finally reached the top, she cupped her hands and let water catch in her delicate hands in which she drank from and let out a happy yelp as she twirled around at her accomplishment.

Later that evening Merida and Angus lay in a field of grass as Angus was eating grass off the ground and Merida carved a eagle figure into her bow.

She then realized the beautiful sunset that touch the land she knew very well. She couldn't help but see how the land keep going and going, there was no end to it, she couldn't help but think that maybe there was something out there that could change how she viewed this world and made her believe that there is still freedom in someway.

"There's got be something out there for me to discover....or at least something that's waiting for me.....right Angus......?" She asked looking straight to the greenery layed out before her.

She only received a nudge from her only best friend. She turned around and smiled at her dearest companion and stroked his mane.

"Who am I kidding Angus, there's no such thing as a adventure and dreams coming to a reality." She looked down to the ground and sighed. But then she shook her head and decided to get up. Dusting off dirt she decided to head back to town. But she looked back at the scenery once more and then she started to walk back home.

Miles away there layed a dark looking castle that looked like it was abandoned many years ago. But Inside there was a beast lurking angrily as he stared at a beautiful rose........
