It was cloudy and everyone was gathered in front of Kou's grave. The funeral had just finished, everyone was wearing black, and everyone that spoke was quiet, even Hiraku. You watched Yuuka stare at his grave, feeling your heart sink down deeper into your stomach.

Unknown: "Excuse me, are you (Y/n)?" You turned around to see a group of three women and a man. From what you could tell by their appearance, it was Kou's family. You looked at the girl with the short red hair.

Unknown: "My name is Izumi, I'm one of Kou's younger sisters. We were wondering... if you would be willing to be approached by the police for some questioning." You felt chills.
You: "... do you think I killed my friend?"
Izumi: "I don't want to believe it. My older brother was found dead in your room, though. It makes you a suspect at the very least." Now you felt your heart drop to your stomach... did they really think you could've killed Kou?
Yuuka: "Izumi, there is no way (Y/n) could've killed Kou. I know not only because she's not that kind of person, but she has an alibi. I was with her for when she was looking for Kou." You looked to Yuuka. She had a dead look in her eye, the life in her was gone. They were dull, cloudy and brown. No longer the bright orange color you knew.
Izumi: "Yuuka, please understand, we're trying to find who killed my brother, so we're going to question anyone that was related, no matter how close they were to Kou. Even you." Poison was laced in her voice. The atmosphere was tense, it was choking you.

Yuuka turned and walked away from the family, and you followed quickly behind her.

You: "Yuuka, are you alright?" You knew she wasn't.
Yuuka: "I... I don't know... I feel like I've lost my fight for life. I don't want to go out anymore, I don't want to be with friends, I don't have the pep in my step..." Her voice was so heart broken, and you could do was give her a hug.
You: "I'm here for you, so is everyone else... We know we didn't kill him, so all we have to do is just be questioned and be done. Then his family will stop annoying us."
Yuuka: "B-But... I wanted to be friends with his family, and now they're against me, against us like this. They're being so hostile, not like Kou, they're.... I don't know how to say it..."

Days had passed, and you still haven't seen Yuuka outside of her apartment. You sighed as you looked up to her window. She hadn't talked to anyone after the funeral except you. She wouldn't even talk to Katashi. You pulled out your phone and scrolled through you contacts. You wanted to hang out, but didn't know who to hang out with. You picked out his contact and placed your phone to your ear.

(Y)our yandere: "Hello?"
You: "Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out sometime today, Yuuka's not talking to me again."
Y: "Sure, at what time and place?"
You: "How about in an hour at my apartment?"
Y: "Sounds good, see you then!"
You: "Ok, bye." You hung up and slowly began walking back to your apartment. You looked at the apartment number that was next to your door. Room 14. You were unhappy that you had to be moved away from all your friends. After everything that happened, practically everyone in the complex knew your phone number, and you were almost never left alone. It almost seemed silly how much people were so worried and protective about you, but you remembered why.
When the police investigated the crime scene, they looked at the folded sheet of paper on your table. Remembering what the letter said made shivers of terror run through you.

I'm so sorry (Y/n) but it had to be done. I only did it because I love you so so much, I hope you'll forgive me. I'll do anything to keep you for myself, and he was taking you away from me. Please understand."

Silly, why would police even think of pointing you as the killer when there was a note left for you there? Well... it Kou's family that thinks you could be involved, not the police. You looked out of your window and waited for a knock on your door. Then it came. Excitedly, you ran and opened the door, but it wasn't him. It was someone you didn't know.
Unknown: "Hey, is this (Y/n)'s home?"
You: "Yes... who are you?"
Unknown: "It doesn't matter, I'm just a friend of (Y)'s from out of town. He sent me to tell you they can't hang out at the moment, since Yuuka just called them." Yuuka called him? Strange...
Unknown: "Sorry, I'll be going now." He quickly walked off without a trace. What... just happened? Who was that? But you quickly forgot about the stranger and only thought about Yuuka. Why did she call him? She hasn't talked to him since the funeral. You had so many thoughts floating around in your head. Everything now was just so strange. You just sat down at your table, opened your sketchbook and began doodling. Your mind began to wonder, and you just doodled random types of weapons.

Time passed quickly, soon the sun will set. You looked at the clock and saw it was almost 6 in the evening. You felt your stomach growl, and your fridge was empty. You sighed and decided you'd just go out for dinner. You grabbed you purse, keys and phone and locked up. You walked down your stairs and began walking to the complex exit. The sound of music began to grow louder and louder the closer you got to where your old apartment was.

You grew curious and began to search for where it came from, and you quickly found Katashi leaning against his window ledge playing a guitar. You hid slightly, trying to not be visible, you just wanted to listen to the music.

He kept singing, and you could feel the music, it was so serene and blissful. It made you nearly forget all the pain of the past week, it felt as if his voice had enveloped you into a comforting hug, telling you it would be ok... then it stopped. You peeked from you hiding place and saw him staring straight at you.

You: "Katashi! I'm sorry for eavesdropping I was just listening to you playing..."
Katashi: "You can ask to sit next to me." He patted the window ledge next to him. You smiled and sat next to him and began strumming the guitar, you both sat silently for a short moment.
Katashi: "Do you have a request?"
You: "Hmm?"
Katashi: "A song request for me, I don't know what to play."

You both just sat together listening to the music, enjoying each others company while the sun began to set. Warm oranges and pinks began to appear in the sky, and the sun was becoming a hazy orange instead of it's bright yellow. As he finished the song, he just began to strum chords that flowed together an a lovely melody. It was nice to feel peaceful, to feel at bliss for once after everything that had been happening for the past week.
You: "Katashi?"
Katashi: "Yes?"
You: "Thank you for this..." You saw in the corner of your eye him blush slightly. Sitting made you think about Yuuka and her strange behavior. She was always such a social butterfly, why wouldn't she talk to her friends anymore. You knew Kou meant a lot to her, but wouldn't she come to us for support?

you: y would yukka call shin??

You felt your stomach rumble and reluctantly stood from your seat. As much as you wanted to listen to Katashi's song, you had to eat sooner or later.
You: "Thanks for letting me listen, but I'm gonna go get something to eat. I'll see you around?"
Katashi: "Yeah." He waved and you smiled softly while walking off. You didn't feel like making an effort into seating down and eating at a restaurant. Maybe you can just find somewhere that offers to-go.

You walked out of the fast food restaurant with a bag of your food inside. You just wanted to eat at home in peace. Being alone was starting to be too much, giving yourself so much time to think only scared you. Maybe I can schedule to hang out with someone... I don't know who though. You thought about your options during your short walk home. You decided on the man that made your heart flutter.

You opened you door, closed it and dropped off your bag of food on your little table. You grabbed a plate from your kitchen and sat down to eat... but something was eery. You didn't feel like you were alone. You put down your food and looked around. No one should be in the house besides you, right? You looked out the window to see a shadow of a person disappear in an instant. Shivers ran down your spine.

You put the plate on the kitchen counter and threw away your trash and walked into your bathroom. You stood in front of the mirror, and began washing your face. Then...
CRASH

You opened the door and saw your plate had fallen to the floor. But how would it? It wasn't that close to the edge to fall on it's own right? Then the sound of a creek filled the room. You turned and saw the door to your home slowly closing. Shivers began to run down your spine, you could've sworn you locked it. You felt a chill... you weren't alone. You felt a pair of eyes burn into your back, you turned and saw a shadow quickly disappear as soon as you looked.

What in the world is happening? This place isn't safe.

You grabbed your weapon..You looked around the entire room, the person didn't have many places to hide, it was just a small apartment. You slowly walked to the door to escape, but heard it slam shut, you screamed in terror and ran to the door to open it. You felt a hand pull you away from the door and throw you to the ground. You tried to get up and scream, but fell to the ground. Your head was throbbing like crazy, it felt as if you got kicked in the back of your head. you could faintly see the figure kneel down to you as you started fading in and out of consciousness.

Before you fell asleep, you tried to call for a name, the name of someone you trusted, you loved. What was their name?
