Dead Guy Walking.

Noah's Point of View.

I paced around my room, my hands shaking with a mixture of anxiety and anger as I ran them through my hair.

'What could him and his little posse do to me huh?' I thought, trying to reason with myself, the words Damian spat at me still replaying in my mind.

"Monday, 8 am, you'll be deleted Noah Chavis."

"Deleted."

"Deleted."

"Deleted."

I stopped mid-step in my frantic pace around the room, a terrified thought crossing my mind.

'What won't they do to me? I exposed him and his friends, they have nothing to lose.' My breathing got a little harder. 'They have nothing to lose.'

Now on the verge of having a panic attack, I started thinking about my options.

"I could change my name and ride up to Seattle," I spoke to myself, eyeing my car keys. I shook his head. "Car's broken."

"I'm dead, I'm a dead guy walking," I cursed under my breath.

I got my phone, planning on looking at how much bus fare would cost, when I saw all the text messages on it. All of them are from different members of Squad.

"What the fuck is wrong with you Noah?!" Text from Danni.

"Have you lost your mind ho?" Text from Ashton.

"What the hell Noah?! You have royally screwed up this time." Text from Savannah.

"You're being a petty bitch," Text from Jeremy.

"You didn't have to do that Noah, you're pathetic." Text from Emlee.

I threw my phone down on the bed, running my hands through my hair again, trying to calm myself down. I sat down on the floor next to my bed, knees pulled up to my chest and arms over my knees.

"Everyone's turned against me," I breathed, panicking now more than ever. "I have no one."

In the midst of my small panic attack, I heard my phone go off with another text message.

Shaking, I slowly moved onto his bed, finding my phone and seeing that Tanner had texted me.

"Hey dude, are you okay? Shit's gone down on Facebook..."

"I don't know man... Freaking out a little bit here." I typed back.

I backed out of the text messages to see the background of me and Tanner. I smiled a little.

I've loved Tanner for so long...

My phone lit up with another text message, only this one not coming from Tanner, but from Damian.

"Make the most of the next thirty hours Noah because Monday morning, you'll be stuff and mounted on the wall."

I took a deep breath, trying not to panic again when my phone lit up, this time with a text from Tanner.

"Just keep calm Noah, everything is gonna be fine. I'll make sure of it. Let's just get some sleep for now."

Damian's text played in my head.

"Make the most of the next thirty hours"

Anger and determination filled my body where the pit of anxiety was, now determined to tell Tanner how I feel and, if at all possible, fuck the night away.
