Growing up

From the day she was born Kayla lived in a small, 2 bedroom, yellow house with her parents on Ash st. In a small town called Crook Rock. The next block over from her home was a baseball field where she went to fly kites, play catch with her dad and to play kickball with the neighborhood kids. They all played until their little legs were numb. As kayla grew older the other kids in the neighborhood kids gradually moved away and Kayla was the only kid her age that lived there. She ended up only hanging out with friends at school since all her friends lived on the other side of town. Kayla had a close bunch of friends in school. That also changed gradually as she got older. In kindergarten she had Josey but she moved away. Then it was Tabby and CC and they all grew apart. Then Kayla found Sam. Sam and kayla had been pretty close friends since they found out they liven in the same neighborhood and went to the same bus stop.

But really you should hear about Wade too I suppose.

Wade was growing up in the same town. In the same neighborhood. On the sane block as kayla. Just right around the corner. Their backyards actually connected by a small path between their garages. But they only knew each other from playing kickball at the field. Soon wade moved away. When he was about 8. Kayla didn't really notice anyway. Wade had four younger siblings by the time he was 15. His father was out of the picture so he had a lot of responsibility. He went to school. He came home and watched the other kids til his mother got home from working late every night. He slept. No hanging out with friends. Just caring for his siblings. Eventually his mother found a boyfriend who Wade didn't get along with. Wade started to rebel. It wouldn't be long til he got kicked out of school and spent a couple nights in juvi.
