Once we get to the doctors office the nurses in their ogle over how beautiful Jessica is and tell me I look tired. Jessica went first so she was weighed and measured again and had her first set of shots which she hated.

The doctor there told me be would be sending out a company to set up the ultra violet lite to help with her jaundice. She would have to be under the lights for an hour every day. So she had gained a bit over an ounce since she was born and that was ok but he was concerned due to her jaundice.

We bid farewell to the ladies at the doctors office and set out to go see good old doc for myself. My staples had pulled themselves out a touch and I wanted to make sure that I was ok. Doc cleaned me up across the cut he made to get Jessica out and removed the staples that had almost came completely out on their own. He placed skin glue to keep the cut closed and put sterry strips to keep the cut closed and give the glue enough time to dry.

He gave me strict orders for bed rest til my blood pressure and blood sugars went down some. Wrote me scripts for antibiotics orally and gave me a topical for the cut he made to get Jessica out. After strict instructions and scripts in hand momma, Julian, Jessica and I left and returned home.

It was about noon when Raymond returned home for lunch. Jessica and I were napping and Julian was passed out on the couch with his cup in his hands. Raymond took Jessica and changed her and fed her while I slept. He was home for the rest of the day since all his NCO's had known I couldn't be left alone now that I was on strict orders from doc to be on bed rest and not to be left alone.

We all slept soundly til a bit before super time and Julian wasn't happy that his baby sister woke him up again. He began to cry cause he was hungry so Raymond quickly whipped up some food and fed us all.
