I am a dog in a world of cats
I run to keep up with everyone's arrogance and ego
I chase what I don't really want to catch
When a cat is cornered they hiss and scratch
I'll find one who is kind and then her friends tear me down
Then I run away just to try again on another day
Stupid dog, stay away
Go play in the grass, stick out your tongue and stay in they field
Always racing your shadow
When a dog is cornered it knows it's been beat
A dog will show his belly
That is until a stronger dog rescues him
And he realizes, maybe I can beat the cat if I have two or three times the dog.
