Engineering is not merely limited to certain domains of knowledge; it is much more than acquiring just the technical know-how or the expertise. It is revered as an art; the art of working adeptly to bring about something. To commemorate the work done by our proficient engineers, every year 15th September is celebrated as the Engineers' Day. The day marks the birthday of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvarayya, honoring his contributions in the Indian Hydel energy sector.
Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre (JECRC, Vice Chariman, Amit Agarwal), one of the top ranked engineering colleges in Jaipur recently celebrated Engineers Day with great fervor and enthusiasm. The college felicitated the scholars who were top rankers in results announced in academic session 2015-16. The students who won laurels for the college in sports were also honored during the event. It was followed by a number of endearing performances by the college clubs. The event garnered a huge response with a number of students participating and showing their skills and talents.

Talking about the event, Amit Agarwal, Vice Chairman, JECRC stated that, "JECRC is proud of its students who outshine others with their skills and talent. We look forward to ensure the overall growth and development of students in each and every field. Every year we get to see great talents of the students. Such events should be encouraged at every level to give the students a breakthrough from their monotonous academic sessions. The spirit of cheerfulness and enthusiasm associated with such events make us resolute about organizing them on every occasion."
Appreciating the student's hard work and acknowledging their efforts, Mr. Amit Agarwal further added that, "All the students have put in their heart and soul for making this event a grand affair. We wholeheartedly thank all of them and the members of Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre (JECRC) for all their help and support."
