I'm writhing in agony, such agony
that is flaring through my twisted frame.
A choking wire poisons my life air.
Know you not the name! Know you not the name?
Snares... those wretched metal coils
that spring and trap their prey in a cold grip.
My eyes are rolling. I cannot see
and white froth is covering my trembling lips.
My body is seized by jerking spasms,
my throat constricted by man's cruel device.
No air. I cannot reach desired air.
It's all around yet access I am denied.
I'm restless. I cannot move.
Each painful inhale may be dreadful finality.
The wire closes ever tighter on flesh,
it it true when said that humans have no pity.
I'm choking away on my life,
gagging and coughing upon that cursed wire.
All is turning dark and black as
Agony streaks through like burning fire.
Blood and froth gather on my jaw,
my frame awoken by sudden spasms of death.
The choking wire has done its deed,
and only my mangled, bloodied corpse is left.
