Chapter 9

Year and A half later...

Jordan's POV

It turns out I was pregnant, I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl Jhené Ariel Broadnax on September 25th. I graduated from my highschool with a 4.0 and recived a full scholar ship from Atlanta Clark University. Me and Jacob never got back together and I'm still together with Que. I still talk to Jacob occasionally. I moved to Atlanta with Jacquees until college starts. I just don't wanna be a burden to him. Speaking of Jacquees he walked in the door with out saying a word to me. He's been acting really different lately but I don't say anything about it. I followed after him to speak but he slammed the bathroom door in my face and turned on the shower. I went and sat back down on the couch and continued about my business. Jhené started crying so I made her a bottle , fed her when Jacquees said he was gone again. I was supposed to go meet my roommate for lunch so I grabbed Né and her diaper bag to drop her off to her grandma.

My roommate is a dope person. Her name is Sierra she stands at 5'0, 2 different color eyes , nice sense of style and long blonde hair. When I got home I was tired , I walked to my bedroom and Jacquees didn't acknowledge my

presence again.His eyes were red.

" Que let's talk "

" About what ?"

" Us you're never here "

" I don't see what the problem is I mean I'm here now ain't I ? You know I got business to handle with my music career so why you tripping ? You know exactly what you signed up for"

"What I signed up for? we're not married yet "

" And you doing shit like this is exactly why I've never even considered putting a ring on your damn finger !"

I went to the dresser and packed an over night bag. On my way out I heard him yell

"See you always running from your problems instead of facing them"

I grabbed my keys and wasn't sure where to go. I went front door and my ability to breathe was getting harder. I walked to the front porch and at this point I couldn't breathe at all anymore. After that I was in a lot of pain from fumbling down the stairs then everything went black.

Jacquees

I sat in the waiting room with the boys and my moms waiting on the doctor to come tell me Jordan was gonna be alright.

" Family of Jordan Johnson" The doctor said looking at his clipboard

We all got up.

"She fell down which caused her right wrist to sprain .We believe she didn't take her insulin today and her being under stress is not good for her being a diabetic"

" What do you mean diabetic Jordan doesn't have diabetes"

" She's had it since the age of 15 Mr. Broadnax we need to keep her over night for observation if something is found it may be a couple of days"

" Well can we see her ?"

" Yes she's awake now so go ahead "

When we walked in the room I saw her laying in the bed looking horrible which made me have a deep sympathy for her.

" Hey y'all " she said with a weak forced smile

Everybody spoke back but when I spoke I didn't get a response.

" How you feeling baby girl " My mom said

" I'm ok ma "

" Ain't nothing wrong with you punk" Tevin said

"Shutup Tarzann" she said laughing a little

" I didn't know you had diabetes " I said

Jordan didn't say anything she just sat there as if I wasn't talking to her. Her and Tevin were talking about something but I couldn't make out what they were saying.

" Can I speak to Jordan Alone "

Everyone exited the room but on Tevin's way out he patted me on the shoulder and shook his head.

"The fuck wrong with you ?" I said

" Jordan.... JORDAN "

" What Que ? "

" Why Tf you acting like I'm not talking to you "

" I now know how you really feel . I'm not gone sit and act like everything is ok "

" C'mon you know I was drinking I didn't mean that "

" Why you lying Que !! That's when the truth comes out "

After that I couldn't say anything.

" Exactly now you have nothing to say please the exit that way you stressing me out "
