Chapter 24: Wedding Bells

I wake up and stretch slightly then look around and notice that my wedding dress had been delivered which means that Jack isn't outside my door anymore. I sigh then get out of bed and head over to the dress, I look at it as my maids come in with some breakfast for me. I nibble at the food as they get me ready. I sit there patiently ignoring my grumbling stomach as they get me ready.

"You know the two of you get me ready so much that you'd think I was a barbie." I laugh as they step away from me to admire their handiwork.

I take the few minutes they spend arguing to eat the quiche and croissant they had brought me. It seems like as soon as I am done the food they are primping and preening me again. They try many different hairstyles and then they finally agree on putting some braids in it and then they attach the crown and a veil, which I immediately takeoff.

"He already knows what I look like I find no use in wearing that stupid veil." I frown when they go to put it back on.

They bow and back away with it then they bring out the shoes and I groan then stand up and scowl at the shoes. They wait for me to do something so I walk out of my closet with them following me.

"My Queen don't you want to put your shoes on?" the one maid asks holding the shoes.

"No." I walk out the door and smile when I come face to face with a couple friends I made at the school.

"Autumn!" they squeal making me laugh as they hug me careful of the dress.

"Hey Babs, Angela, Sabrina! I'm so glad that you could make it!"I smile then lead them into my room so that they can get changed and ready for the wedding.

"My Queen please put the shoes on!"

"Did I or did I not already say no to those damned things?" I scowl watching the maid.

"You did but..."

"Exactly I did say no to those, it is my wedding and I can go barefoot if I so chose!" I snap making the maid jump and drop the shoes bowing.

"I am s-sorry my Queen."

"It's fine, I'm sorry for snapping I just hated wearing those and the council picked them for that very reason. They won't punish either of you if I don't wear them I will see to that for you. Now you may go and get ready yourselves thank you for the help." I sigh knowing I shouldn't take my wedding day jitters out on the maids.

They smile then bow and leave the room, I turn to see the other three girls watching me. I look them over and smile. Babs is a natural redhead, she is also a witch, and she looks amazing in the simple dark blue dresses that they are wearing. I look at Sabrina and frown when I see that her hair is a bright bubblegum pink.

"What? I wanted something different and Babs is experimenting with hair, we didn't know this would happen to it." Sabrina pouts.

I laugh then watch as the laughter sparks in her brown eyes, soon we are all laughing over Sabrina's hair. I watch them carefully and then I spot Angel opening my room door and I smile as I know how shy he is around Sabrina. I poke Angela in the side and she looks up with her bright purple eyes and brushes a strand of platinum blond hair out of her face. 

"Hey Angel why don't you come say hello to my friends and hand me that instead of just leaving it behind." I smirk watching him freeze then look at me like a deer in headlights.

"Yeah Angel we haven't seen you in a while, why ya bein rude?" Angela asks making his eye twitch at the horrible english that the Fey uses only around him.

"I'm sorry I'm in a rush, I do need to get ready with the groom." He sighs coming over to hand me a note.

"You look plenty ready Angel." Sabrina smiles softly and twirls a strand of her pink hair around her finger.
