Chapter 6: Birthday Boy

Red's PoV
Me and Rose, in our new home, got ready for work, as usual. I made her some toast with butter, and made some for myself. We ate at the table, with the news on. She made me and herself a coffee and put it in travel mugs for the car journey. She went upstairs and got dressed. I watched the news for a while before she came downstairs, looking gorgeous.
"Hey, good lookin'," I said, raising an eyebrow and pouted my lips at her. She smirked and pecked my lips. I got up and got really close to her.
"Hey there, handsome," she said, "are you getting dressed or are you gonna stay in your boxers?" She asked, feeling my back and down to my butt. I looked down and saw I was in my boxers. I put my hand over my face, looking embarrassed, and went upstairs to get changed. I blush slightly as I remembered her hands moving around my back, but shook my head, smiling to myself, and went downstairs. She had the travel mugs in her hands, with her purse on her shoulder. I took the mug and we left for the car. We chatted the whole way to work. When arriving, she went to her office, and Adam followed her there. I went into mine, and started up my computer. I then got a text from John saying that he wasn't gonna come in for a few days, as he's helping his brother with something. Adam shortly called me, Rose and Dan over.
"Since John isn't going to be here for a few days, as I'm sure you've all heard," he started, "we'll still be making some videos for some channels. Rose and Dan, you think you'd be up for it?" He asked. They both nodded. "Good, now in a few minutes, we'll be filming a Do Not Laugh and then some Gta videos and we'll later discuss what we're recording tomorrow," he said, handing us some schedules. We took them back to our offices, and started up Minecraft. We got in the Skype call, and got ready for the video.
"Alright, guys, Sky here, and today, I'm joined with the CavemanFilms over der, and the YouTube sentationssss, you see those sss's? That's because Rose and Red are a thing, so they're both YouTube sensations. So those lovebirds. And today, we will be playing Do Not Laugh. So who wants to be in centre, Rose?" Said Adam.
"I will volunteer myself. I came up with that by myself, are you proud of me?" Said Rose, going to the centre and crouching. We laughed at her, and I got the first joke ready.
"Ok, Rose turn around," I said. She turned around, and I stared at her character. I had the Spooderman skin on, and I was surrounded in spider webs.
"Urm, so I'm a little tangled, and I'm stuck, and I don't like spider webs. They scare me, as well as spiders, help meee," I said, in a stupid voice. I heard a snigger from her.
"But you're Spider-Man," she said, through her giggles.
"No, I'm Spooderman, I want to be Spider-Man but, I'm scared of spiders, so I have a problem," I replied to her, and I heard Adam and Dan laughing, then laughing from Rose. We made jokes back and forth. Rose made Adam laugh a lot, as she kept making noises that just made him giggle.
"Nooo, that's not fair, what is she doing, I don't understand," he said. He turned back to her and she had Ross' skin on. There was silence, before she said "you like chocolate?" in Ross' voice, which led to everyone laughing. It made Adam laugh for a good five minutes, and he told us he was actually crying. We shortly ended the video later on.
"So, this was me laughing at Rose, because she cheated," he said, looking at Rose. This time she had a unicorn skin on, and she said "sprinkles doesn't cheat", which led to Adam laughing again.
"So, shoutout to Ross as he was featured a lot in this video, thanks to Rose, and I'll see you later guys," he said, through his giggles. He ended the video and we ended the call. I could hear Adam still laughing, as he came out of his office and laugh with Rose. That's my girl, I thought, smirking.

*Time skip to the end of the day*

I got ready to leave, and went to Rose's office to pick her up. We left, saying bye to everyone in the office. We drove home and talked about the day, especially when she made Adam so much, he had to go to the bathroom. We made it home and I had to do some work, so I went to my office upstairs to write some emails. I got a text from Rose, saying that she'll be doing some calls for something very important, and that I wouldn't interrupt her. I told her not to worry, and that I'd make dinner. I saw her go outside and made several calls. I made some chicken, with some potatoes and a little salad. It was almost ready when Rose came back inside.
"Sorry about that, it took me forever to organise the calls but it's fine, now," she said, pulling her hair back, and put it into a ponytail.
"It's fine. I made some chicken, potatoes and salad. How much should I put on your plate?" I asked her, as she set the table.
"Could I have the leg, please with some of the potatoes and half the bowl of salad, please? I need to be more healthier," she said, sitting down at the table. I put the food on the plate and brought the plates over.
"You're fine the way you are, madam, don't change yourself," I said, pointing at her with a fork. She shrugged, grinned and ate.
"This is really good, thank you for making it today," she said, smiling sweetly. My heart fluttered and I smiled at her.
"No problem, happy to make it for you anytime," I said, feeding her a piece of chicken. She bit my fork and smiled with a bit of chicken handing from her mouth. I smirked and took the hanging chicken from her mouth and put it in mine. She looked embarrassed for a second, but continued eating.
"Are we doing anything this weekend?" She asked. I thought for a minute and shook my head.
"Nope, nothing's planned, why?" I asked her.
"Just double checking if we had anything planned," she said, eating her food again. We later finished and we put the plates away. We sat down on the couch and watched a movie together. It was a comedy, and we laughed every five minutes. I looked over at Rose and she appeared cold. I moved over to her, with a blanket from the armrest and covered me and her with it. I then wrapped my arms around her to keep her warm.
"Feel better?" I asked her. She nodded and buried her head into my chest. I smiled and we continued to watch the movie.
When it finished, we both got ready for bed. We got changed, Rose wearing her vest and shorts, and me with boxers. We cuddled into bed, and turned the lights down.
"It's your birthday soon," she whispered to me, sliding her finger down my chest.
"Yeah, how did you know?" I asked her.
"Um, I'm your girlfriend, I know everything," she said, looking up at me, and giving me a sarcastic look. I smirked at her.
"What should I do for it," I said.
"You leave that to me," she said, and turned around and turned the light off, without saying another word. She leaned back into my chest and closed her eyes. I raised an eyebrow at myself, before closing my eyes, facing Rose.
