I stand in the doorway of the chamber. It was all unexpected and abrupt, everything. My parents' sudden divorce, my father taking me, me and him becoming murderous people, Lainna disappearing, us hurting her...It was all unexpected. I was too young to know exactly what happened between my mom and dad, also to know about my older sister. But from what I've heard, they're bad people.
My dad randomly brought a girl home, which was news to me, but he took her to the pole barn in the back yard, all tied up. He told me to come. I didn't know what to anticipate. I was only 6, and I was hurting people under my dad's command. He threatened me, said if I didn't do as I was told, it would be me next who would be tortured and killed. I started to get use to it, to hurt others and to not listen to other people's rules. Him torturing people went on for quite awhile, until he precipitously stopped. Then that's when we got the news that Lainna was missing, her mom called my dad and told him the news.
But I didn't think she would ever be next.
