Closer and Closer, the END is coming

As we drew nearer and nearer our chances of living was thinner, when we both stood at the bottom of the mountain the aura of the whole place, made every hair on my stand. "L-leon..." as I gripped tightly onto his hand, "This is it right? Mt. Chamberwheel" I added fearfully, "Yeah..." said leon in reply.
"Are you scared?" asked leon
"Well ... yeah" as I said that I faced the ground and a tear fell
"Well I guess it's okay to be scared, just don't forget, I'm always here beside you" on what leon said my heart felt warm, it gave me the courage to actually carry on.
With every step we took, we felt as though someone or something was watching us, red furious eyes glew in the night forest, while walking we heard footsteps following us,but when we turned back to check... no body was there, was it our imagination? Or is there really something mysterious going on ?
Suddenly I tripped and fell over, the mere thought of the entire journey was only to deliver a letter, it actually made laugh, I mean what will even happen if we already delivered it? Will this dream finally end? But then if that happens...I won't be able to see leon again...ever agian, it saddens me, thinking that all of our hard work on journeying all the way here will be the end of this.
"Mikuni! are you alright?" asked leon
"Ahh yup just a little weak in the knees..." I replied
"You want me to carry you?"
"N-n-no thanks! I-I can still walk" I replied embarrassed
"I know your embarrased but..."
"But what?" I asked
"But you don't need to blush that hard" he said teasingly
"I'm not blushing! Let's just go so this can finally end"
Then a strong gush of wind hit us, it's easy to tell that the entities living in the mountain aren't really welcoming us, but somehow got me curious, it they didn't want us here they should've finished off sooner, there is definitely a secret here, I-I'm just too scared... but I need to do this, for the people who helped me especially leon... the guy who has always been beside me.

While going up the tall mountain, we came across a well, it didn't suite the entire place though, where have you ever seen such a beautiful well? Decorated with vines, like a canopy bed instead a well, there was a sign beside it, it said "Come one, come all! Trade your soul for three wishes".
Sounds creepy...when continued our walk and found a flower garden, it was really beautiful and the smell was petite, when I came nearer to pick one from the ground leon suddenly pulled me away, he had a really angry look on his face, I don't know why though, he never acted that way before.
"L-leon... what's going on?" I asked
"Stay away from those flowers! They dangerous, one hold of your hand on it's stem will make you it's prey" replied leon
"H-how?" I asked once again
"You see their stems? Well their stems are actually bigger than you think, these thing will eat you alive"
"*gulp* sure is scary... then we should get going then" I said afraid

A lot of temptations came along me and leon's way, but luckily we've got each other to help each one out, finally we stand in front of Night Mansion what will lie ahead of us when we enter?
