A brilliant explosion of red. Fire.

This is what I saw, and then I wake. The earth is soft beneath me. Undergrowth is around me. A small bit of light comes through the leaves, the moon just barely showing above me. A breeze stirs the twigs of the trees far above me. Water droplets fall onto my wrist. My head aches.
I try to lift myself, but pain erupts inside my body. My vision goes red and I slump back down. I fall asleep. A scream interrupts my slumber. I try to stand but I once again fall.
