Chapter One:
White feathers

It's now 11:45 in the evening and i am currently climbing my way up this tower. Curse alex for making me do this! If it wasn't for that stupid game, then i wouldn't have agreed to switch places with her in this mission!
"Kalma lang lianne, i can hear your heavy scary breathing from here,it's like you're about to blow fire any minute!"
Speak of the devil.
"When this mission's done, i swear i'll kill you for this" kalmado kong sabi.
"Hey, not my fault na malas ka pala pagdating sa board games!"
"Akalain mo yun? The brain queen lost in a board game!? Ahahahahaha!" Sabi nya sa kabilang linya ng naka kabit saking ear speakers.
I scoffed. "Well technically, you cheated"
"I did not!" she gasped and i mentally rolled eyes.
"Whatever"
"Love you too!" Tawang tawa na sabi nito. "I can't believe it.. our lianne is finally doing her first mission! I'm so proud!" Hirit pa nito.
"Tsk, first mission my ass. For your information, it was me who planned every single mission you did"
"Exactly! Ikaw lang ang plaplano lianne. But now.. you're finally achieving your first ever task alone! Who would've thought right?"
I continued moving upwards gamit ang nakakabit na cable rope sa waist band ko. Dahan dahan akong nag stop sa may isang Glass window. As expected sa isang historical tower, the Eiffel tower has high maintenance secure locks.
"Lianne bilisan mo, you only have fifteen minutes para makuha ang item sa tuktok ng higanteng orasan na yan or whatever that is."

Tinignan ko nang mabuti ang window. May buzzer na mag aactivate if you open it. Hard to break in, but not impossible. Pinatong ko ang boots ko sa may window, at pinapat ang heel nito sa may lock. Inactivate ko ang controling access device nito and in just a split second, it opened.
I swifly went in by the glass window. Tinignan ko ang wrist band ko at pri-ness ang hacking system sa cctv cameras.
I looked at the inside of the tower. It really does look old, may kaunting webs din dito sa loob at sobrang laki ng gears ng orasan. Para hindi na patagalin pa, i used my eye mask para iscan ang area and bingo! Nasa may gitna ito ng clock sa pagitan dalawang ng nagrerevolve na kamay ng orasan.
Tinignan ko uli ang paligid. Kinuha ko ang visibility powder sa bulsa ko at hinipan yon sa paligid. Making the laser beams visible to me.
"Alex, i told you na isale mo narin ang ground protection na ihack! Bakit may laser beams parin!"
"Ha? Ahh yun ba? Nakalimutan ko kasi e." Napafalce palm nalang ako.
I knew it, i shouldn't have let her be our guide because one, she lacks everything about it. two, she never had done this before and three, it's my job in the first place!
I sighed as i streched my arms and legs.
Oh well, mapapagalaw ka nanaman rin pala ako so I might as well be done with it. I let out one last sigh and did some acrobatic moves para madali kong naiwasan ang mga beams.
Nang safe na ang area, saka lang na switch off ni alex ang beams. Well, what do i expect?
Pumunta ako sa gitna ng clock at inopen ang lock nito. There i saw in the case the rose shaped diamond emblem na worth 750 million dollars.
