Derek's POV
I came by the auction house smelling the same delicious smell I always do. I walk in and the person at the desk seea me walk in.
"Hello my King. I'm Max and welcome to the auction house. What brings you here today?"
"I came here to look around at the slaves here."
"Yes your highness follow me."
Leo's POV
My name is Leo. I was brought to the auction house around 10 years old. I've been here for 8 years now and I've been beaten and fed from countless times.
Today I was in my cell on my bed, hugging my knees, after being beaten again today. I was waiting for the day I would be free but I know it's never gonna happen.
As I think this I don't notice someone outside my cell or it being opened until I'm pulled off of my bed by my arm. "Leave me be please!" I cried as I was pulled away.
Derek's POV
I felt bad pulling him but he didn't hear me when I called out to him. He was kicking and screaming and it tore my heart. "I want this one."
"He's all yours your highness I'll fill out the paperwork for you."
"Thank you. I'll be on my way now."
"Okay. Bye your highness."
"Bye." I leave the auction house and I put him in the back seat of my car.
"LET ME GO!"
"HEY!" He stops screaming. "I'm not gonna hurt you. I'm here to give you a life so you can be free from that horrible place." He nods and stays quiet then I start the car and leave the parking lot to my house in the human world.
