Okay so i decided to rewrite this book, not the story line will not change it will still be the same but just better writen XD

Prologue
Standing by the massive animal Ivy smiled. The golden stallion was gentler than her mother. “Ivy, are you going to jump him this year?” her friend Jessie asked, leaning out to stroke the stallions velvety muzzle.
“I don't know yet. After last years incident....” she shivered. Lions Roar had been about to make brick wall jump when another contestant's horse, also a stallion, had barged into the ring and attacked Lion. Ivy had been thrown from the saddle and into the wall. Luckily she had her helmet on but she was caught between the two fighting horses.
The only thing that kept her from being trampled on was Lions Roar. The golden stallion had shoved the other stallion away, barreling his chest against the others side and driving the male away from her. “But Lizzy is entering with her gelding, Doctor Grey. You gotta compete!” Elle whined, jumping a little and pouting. “I don't want that spoiled brat to win again!”
“Ellie, Jessie, I'm not going to do it cause I want to win, I do it cause I love to ride. That's it.” returning to grooming her horse Ivy ignored her friends pleas to reconsider, only looking up to bid them fair well when they were leaving.
“Honey, are you still worried about the Hoyden’s stallion?” her father, James A. Mallard, strode up to Lion's stall and patted the male's neck. “They swore he would not go to competition until he was gelded, sweety.”
“it's not that dad. I-I just don't wanna jump anymore.” Ivy buried her head into the stallions neck, smelling the musky scent of horse. “Why won't anyone listen?” quickly Ivy swung herself onto the horse's back, her father opened the stall gate and she was gone.
Jumping scared her now and she never wanted to compete again.
