After breakfast, they decided to have me change into some new clothes. No ones clothes really fit me, the closest fits to me were Horus and Adira, so for now, I accepted Adiras clothes, which were a bit too tight on me. Now I wore a cute purple v- neck and some capris. The clock in the room they said I could use for now, said it was 10:53. I was shocked at how early it was. I sat on the bed, and closed my eyes. I thought about home. This was my 2nd day of being gone. Mom must have been worried sick, if she even noticed I was gone.

When I was about 8, mom and dad split up. Mom worked 2 jobs, working full time at the local diner and part time at the hardware store down the street from it. Dad was always away on business, which was the reason they split. Since he was always away, i was an only child. Mom wanted more than one kid but he was never there. Its hard to get pregnant that way. Lately, she hasn't really been home. Since she got the second job, she doesn't have a day off. I wonder if she's noticed yet.

I opened my eyes, to find a doe eyed Adira standing in front of me, staring at me. I jumped, moving the bed as I did so. "Sorry! Did i scare you?" I nodded my head slightly, saying yes. My heart was pounding. I didn't expect her to be there. "I'm so sorry! Do you like the clothes? They look really good on you!" She was very loud. "It's fine. I like them, thank you for letting me borrow them." I said, still trying to calm down.
"It's not a problem, now come on, we're going to explore a little." Adira grabbed my hand and pulled a little, like a small child insisting on going to a ride at the fair. I obeyed the non-verbal plea, and got up. She instantly took off in a sprint with my hand in hers, dragging me along like a little rag doll. "Where are you going," Ostara called after us. "Exploring!"Adira continued on, straight out the door and into the woods.

We ran through branches, as the leaves crunched beneath us. The air was crisp, and smelled like the earth, and pine. It was truly refreshing. In the distance, we heard running water, but it was more fierce than just a river. I slowed down, and forced Adira to come to a stop. "What's over there?" I asked, gesturing in the direction of the noise. "Oh," Adira began, looking uncomfortable. "We're not allowed over there." I was intrigued. How could water be so bad? "Why?" Adira ignored my question as she pointed over towards a clearing. "That place leads to many places, each place entirely different than the next. Wanna see it?" I could tell she was trying desperately to change the subject, but I submitted as it also sparked my interest. "Sure, how many places have you been to from there?" She smirked. "None yet, I was telling you the legend. Let's go." Her grip slightly tightened as she lead me over towards the clearing. "Adira! Scarlet!" We heard in the distance. It was obviously Ostara, as her voice was the second highest of the females living in the cabin. The highest voice belonged to Adira. Adira froze for a second, then signalled to be quiet and follow her. She quietly sped over to a nearby tree, and released my hand. She began to climb the tree. "What about me," I attempted to shout whisper. "Climb that tree over there." Adira used her head to gesture at another, higher tree. "I can't climb trees!" I was immediately terrified. I hate heights. "Why are we hiding, anyways?" I asked, suddenly realizing I found no point to it. "She'll make us stop exploring, now come on, find somewhere to hide." Adira climbed out of sight, and I was left alone.

I panicked, as I struggled to find somewhere to hide. I didn't want to climb a tree, it's too high, but what choice did I have? I began to climb a shorter tree I found in the midst of me panicking. It was about seven and a half feet high. The bark scratched my skin, and when I was about 5 1/2 feet up, I stopped. I tried not to look down, because I was afraid if I did the ground would look 3 eternities away. The calls of our names grew louder and louder. Within minutes, Ostara materialized around the area, I could see her clearly. That alone made me paranoid she could see me soon too.
