•Ava's POV•
"5,6,7,8" Mrs Tony yells across the room as our feet start immediately dancing. My breathing quickens as the music plays on and the leaps get higher and the turns get longer. I slowly feel myself slipping into the trance of dance and my thoughts stop and all worries disappear. All there is left is myself and the music. An hour passes and I'm dripping with sweat. I grab my bag and make my way to my mum's car.
"How was it,sweetie?"
"Great" I reply. She looks at me and grins mischievously.
"What?" I ask and her smile goes into a straight line.
"Nothing" she shrugs and a smile tugs at her lips again.|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•
We get home and dad and my two brothers were standing at the bottom of the stairs staring at the door ,all with the same smile my mum had. I stop in my tracks and stare back at them.
"What?" I say looking at them. After they don't answer I look over at my mum that has no the same smile on her face aswell. My dad then slowly pulls a letter from behind his back and hands it to me. I open it uncertainly and pull the letter out. I scan my eyes across the letter and then I stare at it in belief . I reread it and read it again.
"What does it say?" Olly ,my youngest brother, asks.
"I got in,"I explain" I got in to The Royal Academy Of Dance!" Suddenly a loud squeal exits my mouth making my family flinch and grin at the same time.
"Well done sweetie!" My dad grabs me into a big bear hug.
"We're so proud of you. You got into to your dream school. You're living your dream now ,honey. Never forget that."|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|
Two days later I had packed my bags and was now stood by the front door ready to leave my life behind and join the life of adulthood.
"You ready?" My mum stood with a tear rolling down her cheek.
"Mhm"
"My baby's all grown up" another tear rolls down her cheek and drops onto the floor.
"Mum, I'll be fine, I promise."
I hug my brothers and my dad kisses my forehead.
"See ya later"
"See ya later" I reply. I grab my backs and step outside into the drive.
"What could go wrong?" I murmur to myself confidently.|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|
