Eclipse woke up for the second time since she arrived here. I could hear him slowly stalk towards me. I looked to my left and saw him curiously looking at my laptop screen. "What's that?" He asked as he pointed at the my laptop's screen. On it were research on the Kira murders.

"Research." I answered simply. He nodded in response. After that Eclipse just sat at my side and stared of into space. What was interesting was that he was humming a song to himself. Still he sat still, leaning his head on my leg. To be honest it didn't bother me really. Suddenly, I was notified that the team including Light was going to be here soon.

Watari sent me a text saying that they'd arrived. Suddenly, Eclipse started acting weird. He lept onto his bare feet and darted under my feet, snarling. Not a second later Light and the inspectors stepped inside HQ. I could feel Eclipse, who was on all fours, move slightly. The black leather couch that I was sitting on, groaned as Light sat on it. In a second, Eclipse lunged at him.

Light moved off the couch before Eclipse could hurt him. If he had moved a fraction of a second later he'd been seriously hurt. I could tell because Eclipse was so aggressive. Curiously enough, when Light had gotten twenty feet away from me Eclipse returned to his spot under my feet. For some reason it seemed as if he was protecting me from Light. When Mr.Yagami sat on the couch Eclipse just sat there not even moving.

I felt a tap on my arm and when I looked down I saw Eclipse was offering me a cherry sucker. I hesitantly took it and a soft smile grew on his face. He then popped a lemon lime sucker in his mouth.

Part of me wondered if he was trying to befriend me or trying to fool me. Still, I'm 65% sure that he's kira.
