CHAPTER 2
I bent backwards, flipping my head back managing to slightly dodge a flying blade that the samurai kid threw as the small blade jabbed into the dirt hill behind me. The boy didn't give up on using that technique, he held a load more blades and threw them at me aiming almost perfectly. I deflected the small blade with my sword as I ran towards the kid. The kid jumped back slightly as I swiped my sword across in front of me, I swung my other sword immediately after as it cut from the kid's shoulder down to his hip.
Right after the I had cut him, the kid disappeared in the same flash of light as the people from the first stage. I sighed with a slight smile. Anyone who touched any of my swords would die immediately.
One person down two to go.
I was used to doing this sought of killing, this was what I did when I was alive anyways.
"Hey Ivy!" A voice shouted behind me. Rem.
"Oh Hi, how's your progress?" I asked as he came running up to me.
"Only 1, You?"
"Same, how about we go look for some people then?" I smiled as Rem nodded and headed off to where there were lots of people. I followed him slowly as I saw something out of the corner of my eye. I didn't bother about it so I just left, but things didn't seem to go smoothly as a girl ran towards me and Rem, clutching a shiny blade in her hand. Her speed was fast and surprised me but I saw this a lot, I was used to it.
The girl was too fast for me to use my sword as I put out my hand in front of me, palm facing the girl, a light, lightning blue colored magic circle appeared as lightning struck the girl as she disappeared. I glanced at my hand... I didn't know I could still use my abilities when I was dead.
I turned to face back at Rem to see him just finished off another person.
Only 1 more. It's about time I found a person for myself.
I walked around the place aimlessly with Rem. I stabbed my swords back into it's sheath, not needing it now.
"Everyone better hurry, 10 minutes left!" The voice blasted again but I didn't know from where.
"Oh... damn! Bye Ivy, I gotta go for someone," Rem panicked slightly.
"Meet up later, bye," I quickly ran off to a person who seemed to be sorting out his weapons that laid on the ground.
Quietly and slowly, I pulled out my sword once again and walked to the person, my footsteps were quiet. I stabbed my sword through the man's back as I pulled the sword back out, it was drenched at the tip with dripping blood.
When I finished a magic circle appeared under me as was teleported into a room where people were already finished the challenge and were leaning against the white painted walls. Rem appeared shortly after me in a bit of an awkward landing.
"Rem! Ivy!" I spun around as a boy and a girl ran over. Our other teammates, Yukio and Yuki, they were brothers and sisters.
"Wow, you guys were quick!" Rem replied as he sat down against the wall lazily.
"Yeah," Yuki giggled as she join us with Yukio. I yawned tiredly.
"Do we just wait here?" I asked.
"Probably," Yukio said as he tightened the black ribbon around his waist that held his sword.
"OKAY, OKAY! Is this everyone? Not much people. Oh well." The voice was shouted again as everyone was again teleported to the next floor, floor three. "This challenge is like a simple Capture the Flag game, two team will go against each other in a random outside scene that we will generate. To win, steal the opponents flag and you MUST have you own flag as well within an hour, if in the time limit neither teams have gotten the flag, both shall be disqualified."
Just as the vice finished, a running river and dense forest started to slowly covered around our team as well as a podium with a red fag on top.
" Two of us stay here and the other two fight," Yuki said. "Yukio and I will stay here." Rem and I nodded as I was about to turn to go, a boy appeared in front of us who had cut through his left eye. He reached into his pocket as we backed off a bit. He through a small bomb thing up in the air near to us Yukio reached to his sword to slash at the small thing. But then I realized something. The bomb will not activate unless it is opened. The tip of Yukio's sword swiped across the bomb.
"No! Stop!" I cried out but it was too late...
