Chapter 10- An Unexpected Visitor

Haaayyyy!

On my way to school once again...

"Hey, what are you doing." someone said as he put a hand on my shoulder.

Hayyyy.... expected already...

DAVID

"On my way to school?" I said.

"Is your time wrong? If I'm mistaken it's only 6 am and school doesn't start till 8." David said to me.

Dang watch! It was seven at it and the hand for counting seconds wasn't moving at all...

"Stupid watch." I sighed.

"At this time, I suppose only the two of us would be in school." David said to me.

"Well, it's okay then at least I have someone with me." I said to him.

David was silent.

"Anyway, why are you on your way to school this early?" I asked him.

"I really go to school this early on Tuesdays because of a bet with Axl." he said to me.

"A bet again? What is it all about?" I asked him.

"Just a bet of who would come earlier." he said to me.

"Oh,okay." I said to him.

We went on our way to school... so when we were nearing it, I felt scared because I was really afraid of the dark but I pretended not to so nobody knew about it.

We went into the classroom to realize that there was someone there already.

"Gela, what are you doing here?"

It was Axl, seem like he won the bet for this week.

"Wow, you got here first!" David said.

"Of course!" he said.

"Hey Gela, could you give us some time to talk? It's confidencial." Axl said turning to me.

"Okay then." I said.

I went out but it was a complete darkness, I started to feel scared and ran anywhere I could but leading me to a place I didn't recognize because of the darkness.

Suddenly I felt weak and sunk to the floor, my knees weakening because of my fear.

I remembered what happened when I was a child when I accompanied my friends to a haunted house, where they left me alone for a prank and I had to find a way out.

Luckily, the caretaker of the house, who was an old man came and took me out of the house and warning me not to go inside since he knew I was afraid of the dark.

Since then, I was traumatized by that experience, I didn't tell my mom so she didn't do anything to my friends back then. Since then, also, I never hang out with my friends before again.

DAVID'S POV

"What was that all about?" I asked Axl whaen Gela had went out the door.

"Don't you see that the building is in total darkness?" Axl said.

"So?" I said.

"Gela's afraid of the dark." Axl said.

"Wait, what were your intentions?" I asked.

"Some of my old friends are in this building and hiding everywhere and they want their revenge to Gela." Axl said.

I couldn't believe a word Axl was saying.
