Chapter 4 party time

"I was wondering if you would..." kid started watching me though his bangs.

"ya?' I asked wondering what he might ask.

"want to come to a party at my house." he said quickly like the words could not wait to get out of his mouth but with a monotone voice like it was a normal everyday thing

"ya sure sounds like fun!" I said happily "wait I don't have to dress up all fancy like am I?"

kid rolled his eyes "at least were a dress"

I sighed annoyed at the reaper "fine but im wearing shorts underneath' kid just rolled his eyes at me but seemed happy I agreed with wearing a dress.

we walked down back into the building and joined the rest of the gang. then I remembered "hey kid how late will the party be?"

"well the party will start at 8 so about 10 o clock" he said casualy

I sighed in relief "ok good"

after school I ran like a speeding bullet to Steins lab / house. I ran to my small room and snatched my money out of my old peanut butter jar that I had saved doing chores around the lab and went into town leaving a note for Stein. I saw Maka,tusbaski, liz, and patty all dress shopping together, I quickly ran into Death Topic and looked at the dresses. It's not that I do not like them, it's just I hate people watching me When I am trying things on! And knowing them they might try to get me into a dress that I do not like whatsoever. I found a cute black dress that had two thin ribbon like straps and had little white skulls all over. the dress fell to above my knees so I grabbed some black short shorts a thin black sweatshirt to cover my arms and tattoo, and black and white stripped tights. I paid the man at the front desk and ran back to Steins. I ran to my room and got changed. I put my black doc marten boots on and straightened my naturally wild curly hair. I applied black mascara, eyeliner and eye shadow onto my eyes and smiled at my reflection. I stomped over to the door,

"and were are you going all dressed up?" a creepy voice called from right behind me

"a party" I said calmly turning around and facing Srein. I was used to his voice so it never creeped me out or make me jump.

"oh and were is this party?" he asked seeming intrigued

"kids" I said

he nodded "sense it is kid I will let you stay out till midnight or if you call you may sleep over" he said his voice losing its creepiness

I was confused "umm ok?" I said and walked out of the house like lab. I looked back at the door as I closed the cold black medals spiked fence that wrapped itself around steins lab. I never removed my chocker so I still had it on.

I quickly walked over to kids house not wanting to be late and arrived at 8 o clock sharp. I took a deep breath and knocked on his door. Liz opened the door and gave me a kind smiled at me "hey gurl come on in"

I smiled "thanks" I walked in and saw everyone except soul "let me guess..."

"fashionably late" maka and I said at the same time. we started laughing. at about 8:10 soul strolled in with a shark like smirk plastered onto his snow paled face. I faught back my eye roll as he sat on the couch beside me.

"hey Kana" he said facing me and looking into my eyes

"sup soul" I replied looking back at him.

he shrugged not saying a word. I looked around and watched as everyone was talking and smiling.

"alright the great black*star is bored!" black*star yelled punching his fist into the air near to the table that had snacks on it

"and ate all the food too" I muttered loud enough for soul to hear which made soul snicker softly
