The Girl behind the Curtains!
Everybody know that kind of girl, the best friend, those who are always there for others, those no one really pays attention to, the second choice, those who doesn't really care about being in the spotlight.
And this is the story about one of those.
This is the story about the girl behind the curtains, or better about a girl that loved being behind the curtains until something made her step on the spotlight.
A story about me. My name is Luna, Luna Hart and I use to be the girl behind the curtains and I loved it, but something changed and I couldn't be that girl anymore.
Three months ago was the last day of junior year and at that time I clearly remember that everything was perfect, my best friend, Harper, was super happy with all she had going on and I could be at my favorite place, doing the backstage of her life.
But in the last week of summer something happened, I was at my grandpa's farm with my twin sister, Sun, we were riding our horses as always, we were speeding and racing when Champagne (my horse) saw a snake and freaked out, he reared and with the speed we were he threw me out of his back, I was going to hit a rock at five meters from where I was shot and I was sure that I was going to die, just that I didn't, I stood floating in midair at five hundred feet from the floor with my eyes tightly shut. They were shut until I heard Sun speaking from under me.
"What the hell... Luna!!! Are you okay??" She asked me in a frantically voice, and then I opened my eyes and the vision of my twin as small as a pea under me was the last thing I saw before blacking out.

I rolled in my bed with my had in my soft pillow that I loved, ow, my bed I love it so much...
Wait, my bed the last thing I remember was me and Champagne speeding with Sun and Flower (Sun's horse)...
I opened my eyes to see the too familiar picture of my room in my grandpa's farm, the lightly sky blue walls, the sun entering the room trough my white curtains, my white bed with sky blue comforter and my sky blue carpet on the dark wooden floors.
I quickly got up, but immediately wished I hadn't cause' as soon as I did my head started spinning. I quickly sat down and this time waited a few seconds to get up again.
I headed to the door and went into the living room to see sun and grandpa watching TV.
"Hey, people, what are you doing?" I asked and they both turned to me.
For some reason Grandpa had this huge smile pasted on his face and Sun was glaring at me.
"Is everything alright?" I asked.
"Perfect, muffin, your mother is on her way and then we will tell you the expended news!" He came and hugged me, but for some reason every word that left his mouth just made Sun's glare at me stronger, weird, but I decided to let it pass.
I threw myself in the empty black leather couch next to my grandpa's chair and stared at the clock waiting for my mom (What? Patience was never my thing).
I stared at the clock for intense five minutes when I heard my mom's car pulling on the driveway.
I quickly ran to the door and held it open so my mom could come in.
"Okay, okay,..."I said while I pushed her into the living room and making her sit in the couch were I was lying before. "Now, explain!"
Gosh, if I only Knew.
"Doll, you always knew about the Glow school, the most exclusive school in the whole world, but you also know that there they raise heroes, they teach people with special gifts how to use them for the best and you always knew that our family was one of the families that should have a hero, but I know you always thought it would be Sun, but yesterday episode proved all of us wrong, you flied and we are soo proud of you."
I was speechless, it couldn't be true, I was always soo sure that the one would be Sun and she was too, it was all that she ever wanted, but if i was a 'hero' that meant that Sun couldn't be and she would be soo pissed... Suddenly the glares she was throwing at me made sense.
"It's not possible... Sun should be the one, I don't want it, she can have it!" I said decided.
"Oh, baby, you say that now, but you will see this power will grow in you..." My mom said and run her fingers through my hair. "We all know how good you are and it's very noble of you to try to give your powers to Sunny, but, Luna, there is a reason why it chose you and you cannot pass it away like that."
She hugged me and Sun left the room and we heard her room's door slam hard.
