When the Murrow girls want to add some curl to their "dos," they have plenty of tools at their finger tips. But, they don't have the "Air Curler."

The commercial for the product claims "now you can twirl a head full of curls with Air Curler. The revolutionary new styling tool that creates the perfect curl every time." The product costs about $23, including shipping and handling.

Following the instructions, Jade and Sidney started with damp hair and added product. Their mom, Heather, put the "Air Curler" together with no problem. All she had to do was attach it to a blow dryer.

The directions suggest spinning a strand of hair for 10 to 15 seconds, then cooling the section for 10 to 20 seconds.

But Sidney said the finished product was a "tangled mess."

The expression on the teen's face said it all.

Heather gave the "Air Curler" another whirl, but on Jade's hair. Seconds later, Jade didn't like the results. The girls weren't convinced they could duplicate the commercial.

"They made it look like you could quickly pull up a wedding up-do," Heather said. "They couldn't even get their hair decent enough to leave the house today. It doesn't work."
