Depression has always been a problem for people all over the world. Depression was first called "melancholia". The actually first place that has proof of melancholia was the ancient Mesopotamian people. Later on people started to call the "sickness." Many were getting depression.

Today, many people are diagnosed with different types of depression. There is: Major Depression, Dysthymia (not really common), Postpartum Depression, Seasonal Affective Disorder, Atypical Depression, Psychotic Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Situational Depression.
