Ethan POV

“What?”

“Nothing,” I say, “You just look stunning.”

She looks herself up and down, and I do the same, starting from her strappy heels all the way up to her tight black dress that hugged every curve of her body. Her makeup was done just right, and her hair fell perfectly down her shoulders.

“It was nothing, is it too much?” She blushes nervously.

“No you look perfect, come on, lets go,” I smile, holding my hand out.

I link my fingers with hers and lead her out the door and down the stairs of our second floor apartment. I open her door as she climbs in the car, and then climb in myself. I turn to her as soon as I shut the door.

“Okay, blindfold time,” I say excitedly.

“What?!” She practically screams.

“Pretty please?” I beg, “Its just for ten minutes, please?”

“Fine,” She sighs.

“Yay!” I reply as I begin tying the blindfold on her.

“You’re lucky I love you,” She replies.

“I love you too, beautiful,” I say and watch her cheeks get pink.

I drive for about ten minutes, with a very pretty, but very pouty Avery, who constantly whines, “Are we there, YET?”

I finally pull over to a park entrance and stop the car.

“What now?” She complains.

“We’re here. Now sit tight,” I say, hoping out of the car and running around to open her door. I hold her hands and lower her out of the car, telling her to keep the blindfold on, despite her protests. I lead her on the sidewalk to the park boardwalk that went around the lake that bordered the green area. Once she was on the boardwalk, I pulled her blindfold off.

“Awe, Ethan! This is so pretty!” She giggles, spinning around.

“One more thing,” I say, taking her up on a bridge. I pull out a small bouquet of flowers from behind a tree, and present them.

She gasps, “Ethan! I already have flowers!”

“Just take them, trust me,” I say.

She takes them and inhales deeply.

“Read the card?” I ask politely.

She giggles and nods and pulls out the envelope and card that were sticking out of the bouquet. With her nose practically at the seam of the card, I got down on one knee as she read aloud,

“My darling Avery,

You know that you are my world, in a whole, without a doubt. So, if I may borrow some lyrics, you know that I want you forever, forever and always, through the good and the bad and the ugly, we’ll grow old together, forever and always. So…”

“Marry me?” I ask, as she looks up from the card.

Sorry for the crappy filler, I'm working on it!
