The 4th hokage

Chapter 1

Minato's POV

Today I'm starting my first day at the academy, I vow to become a splendid ninja and to become hokage someday, that is my dream. Minato gets dressed then heads downstairs to eat breakfast, he then leaves with his mom to the academy. Once inside he's introduced to his sensei, he then starts his classwork. Minato is a natural prodigy at his school work and ninja training he's excelling at everything in fact today his class will be practicing shuriken throwing. Minato's turn comes up and he throws 4 shuriken each of them landing right on target. The girls scream for him and the boys are fuming with jealousy. He shrugged it off and continued with his studying waiting for the other students to finish. Once they're all done his class heads back inside to get a lecture on what chakra is and how to control it they then are told to go home and study more about it. Once he walks inside he's greeted by his mother, he then walks upstairs and starts studying...

Kushina's POV

Kushina is walking through the hidden Eddie village like any other day on her way to go training, she is approached by her cousin kakushina she was getting ready to leave to another village called kusagakure, Kushina was sad about her cousin moving but she wasn't going to stop her almost their entire clan was killed before the ninja war even started, the survivors are being forced to move to separate villages to ensure that the clan will one day be reproduced to greatness again. Kushina would be moving to a place called the hidden leaf in about a year to become a jinchuuriki, though she was still unaware about that part. She continued on her way to the training grounds as she wished her cousin good luck. Once she arrived she practiced her shuriken throwing and mastering her kekkei genkai which allows chains to come out of her body. She knew she had to get stronger in order to restore her once great clan, it was a good thing the elders had taught her some sealing techniques before they were killed, or she would have been totally helpless. After training she went home and started packing away most of her stuff except for the necessary everyday stuff. Once done she took a warm shower letting the water flow through her long red hair down her back after ,she got on she put on her pajamas, ate instant ramen and went to bed.

1 year later

Minato's POV

Minato was in class like any other day writing his notes when sensei introduced a new student.
??: I'm Uzumaki Kushina ya know!!
Kushina:I'm gonna become the first female hokage!
Minato stands up
Minato: Me too i want to become a great hokage everyone in the village respects.
Kushina just looks at him blankly. "Hmm, he doesn't seem very manly! How can he ever be hokage" she thought to herself. Her train of thought is broken when she hears other students whispering look at her hair,it's so red. Embarrassed about her outburst she just took her seat beside that Minato kid.
Minato: So where are you from kushina- chan.
Kushina: Hidden Eddie village.
Minato: Oh cool and your a Uzumaki I heard that's a really strong clan their very respected around our village.
Kushina: You sure talk a lot don't you blondie.
Minato: Ok I get your point I'll shut up now. He said chuckling.
For the rest of the lesson Minato kept stealing glances at her admiring her long red hair, while taking the notes once class was over she left almost immediately, he decided to follow her. He seen three of the boys in his class bullying her.
Boy 1: That is some ugly red hair.
Boy 2: yeah it's so red I think I'll call you tomato.
Boy 3: As if a tomato can ever be hokage, keep dreaming.
Kushina: Who are you calling tomato broccoli head!! As if you have any right to be talking about anyone's hair yours looks ridiculous!, she then starts beating them up.
"Hn. Serves them right." Minato thought as he walked away.

Kushina's POV

Man I hate my class, most of them think I'm just some outsider and that Minato kid just doesn't seem to care,she thought as she ran away. Little did she know Minato was watching quietly from a tree." I know now she can handle her own but just to be sure I want to see her go home." He thought to himself. He watched her beautiful red hair disappear in the distance. Once Kushina got home she took off her school clothes and changed into everyday clothes. She was hungry and had training to do so she left the house to look for a quick snack. She saw a ramen shop and decided to come back after she trained so she wouldn't get sick she then headed to one of the training grounds. When she arrived she saw Minato throwing shurikens at a target. He landed every single one precisely on the Bulls eye. She was amazed at how talented he was she then walked up to the log next to him, and started her training without acknowledging him.
Minato: Hello Kushina I didn't think I would see you here.
Kushina: Well I have to get stronger in order to restore my clan and become hokage, after all looks like you might be my competition for the title.
Minato: No worries I promise to support you even if you were to become hokage instead of me in fact I would help you.
Kushina was stunned by his words no one ever offered to help her she didn't know what to do, say, or think. However, it was pretty clear to her that he was only pitying her because everyone else in the class hates her, well except for mikoto and Tobi but that's not the point.
Kushina: No thanks this is something I have to do on my own.
Minato: Very well then.
They continued training without saying another word to each other Minato finished first though.
Minato: Alright then see you around kushina-Chan.
Kushina: Yeah alright blondie.
Truth be told Kushina actually loved the way his spiky blonde hair looked it seemed to glow yellow in the sun and darken a bit in the moon, he also had ocean blue eyes that could get any girl lost in them, and when he smiled it was brighter than anything she ever experienced before. Although she did notice these things about him she shook those thoughts aside and continued her training.....

Minato's POV

After he got home all he could think about is Kushina, the way her long red hair flowed in the wind, her assertive dark blue orbs, and the way she talked to him, she didn't sound like one of those annoying fan girls, she talked to him like he was just a normal person not some genius. Minato knew then that he'd have to do everything he can to win her heart....

Kushina's POV

After she completed her training for today, she went back to the ichiraku's place and had a big bowl of ramen. After she ate the best ramen in her life she thanked the old man and left. On her way home she was admiring the beautiful Sakura trees the way the pink cherry blossoms swayed in the night air, who wouldn't admire it's beauty, this was the first time she truly felt at peace in this village ever since she found out that she had to become the jinchuuriki of the nine tailed fox. She continued her walk until she reached her home. Once inside she took a nice warm bubble bath the relax her muscles from all the taijutsu training she was doing, once she got out it was still only 8 so she decided to do some studying, she studied chakra control and mathematics. Once she was done it was 9:30 so she decided to go to bed....

Minato's POV

The next day Minato woke up, brushed his teeth, put on his clothes and, ate breakfast. Once he was done it was 7:30 so he put on his shoes and walked to the academy. When he went inside he took his seat and noticed Kushina hadn't arrived yet, so he decided to study a little before class starts. About 15 minutes later Kushina arrived and took her seat next to Minato.
Minato: Hello Kushina-Chan, he said smiling.
Kushina: wassup blondie, she said then took out her books to study.
They continued their studying in silence until the bell rung indicating it was time for class to start.
Sensei: Good morning class today we are going to talk about the first hokage so can anyone tell me his name?
Minato raises his hand.
Sensei: Ah, yes Minato.
Minato: His name is Hashirama senju, he is the grandfather of Tsunade Senju one of the legendary sannin.
Sensei: Yes and the Senju clan is said to be distance blood relatives to the Uzumaki clan, right kushina.
Kushina: Um yes sir, they were originally the side branch of the Uzumaki but they didn't like this so they broke off from the main branch and became known as the Senju clan of the leaf, however the Uzumaki still kept a close relationship with the Senju clan.
Sensei: Very good Kushina and Minato, although I expect nothing less from my star student and a Uzumaki of the main branch. Sensei continued his lecture and the class began gossiping about Kushina saying things like, " She thinks she so special or, the Uzumaki clan isn't even that strong, and I bet the Uchiha clan could beat them." After class ended Kushina walked out to go to ichiraku's when she noticed Minato taking the same way she did.
Kushina: you getting ramen too blondie?
Minato: Oh yes ichiraku's is simply the best, would you want to go together.
Kushina: No thanks I have homework to do so I'm ordering take out.
Once they arrive to ichiraku's Kushina takes her ramen to go leaving Minato by himself.
Teuchi: So Minato I see you got yourself a crush huh? He teased.
Minato: Yeah I think I'm in love, the problem is I don't know how to tell her. I mean she's so brave, strong, and beautiful. Every time I'm around her my heart races and my stomach feels tight, can you help me?
Teuchi: Woah kid, I didn't know your feelings were this strong, I'm afraid I can't help you out here, I know you can do this on your own, just wait till the time is right...
