A few years ago, I was called something else: human. I'm not the same anymore. You see, not long after I lost my reason to stay in town, I was attacked. Not by anything human, but by a demon. The demon king, to be exact. He said I'd be the perfect addition to his court, and the perfect bride for his half-breed son.
Now, I rule the court, and the man who was my husband lies dead, his head, along with his father's, in the demons' trophy room. I believe it is time to visit the place I once called home, and to find the person I once loved.
