London
"London baby, there's been a change of plans I won't be home til Monday." My fiancé, DeSean Jackson says over the phone.
I wanted to facetime him to see his face but he said he was really business so he wouldn't have time.
I hold my the urge to roll my eyes and sigh, "Okay baby. Just come home to me soon please. I miss you," I pout.
"Yeah alright. Look baby, I gotta go the boys wanna go celebrate this W we took tonight." He says rushing to end the phone call as always.
"Okay." I say trying to hide my disappointment. "I guess I'll talk to you later DeSean. I love-"
He hangs up before I can even finish. A part of me is glad because I know that I didn't mean it when I said it. It was just something I was used to saying with him. We've known each other since middle school, been dating on and off since high school, and we've now been engaged for 3 years.
He proposed on my 21st birthday and ever since then things have only gone south from there.
I never really noticed why I've been putting off the wedding but now being apart from him I realize.
I don't want to marry him.
Not this him. I still love the old DeSean. The sweet, funny, sarcastic, and caring DeSean. I'm still in love with that DeSean and that's why I stay because sometimes he shows some of those old DeSean traits and I fall right back into his arms.
I'm sitting there sulking in my broken relationship when my phone goes off. I look at the phone and instantly smile when I see my bestfriend's name pop up.
"Kaybaby!" I yell answering the phone."LOLOBUG!" She yells back.
"What chu want bitch?" I say quickly changing my tone of voice to sound like I'm mad.
"Watch that tone baby. Remember I know where you sleep at night and DeSean dumbass ain't here to protect you this time." She says making my roll my eyes.
