Chapter 10

I can't believe this. I'm so pissed, are you kidding me. its been a week since i got back an they probably didn't even care!
"UGGGGGHHHHHH" I screamed into the pillow. Parker was rubbing my back, saying comforting things to calm me down.

"what am I going to do?" I whispered. "I don't know baby. But I think that right now we have to start your training. It will get your mind off your family. I mean I know that your father is helping, but, baby trust me when I tell you I will not let them come near you. Unless you're ready." I nodded my head. Gosh I have no idea what I would do if I didn't have him. I sighed and smiled.

"you're amazing " I wrapped my arms around parkers neck hugging him. He wrapped his arms around my waist. He buried his face in my neck. His sigh was so big I gave me shivers down my back. We both pulled back and we rested our foreheads on one another's. We just sat there in each others presence. We sat there basking in each others love.

But then there was a knock at the door, interrupting our quiet time.

"yes?" Parker seemed upset that we were interrupted.

"parker, as much as id like to know what's happened I really think that emi should start training." Parkers father said through the door. Me as well as parker sighed deeply, getting up from the bed.

"he's right... come on baby" parker dragged me out of bed and out the door.

It was so awkward when I got out there. I couldn't look them in the eyes.

"alright so let's get started... so lets start with the combat. Pretty much boxing and kick boxing. Then after that we'll worry about shifting multiple times. After that we should focus on shifting back and forth during combat. Its all about stamina." I nodded my head, my eyes looking at the tall green grass growing under my feet.

"so, Alex, Max, come here." Was he going to make me practice on them? I'd never hurt them. Even though its my brother and Parker's brother, I don't want to hurt them. But I guess it is training

"Alex and max take it easy, she's just starting out." I smirked. They nodded and stood in a fighting stance.

"you ready?" max said. I got in my stance, nodding my head. They came after me. But I was quick to respond cause I front flipped over them, landing on the other side of them.

I shocked everyone, by sweeping my leg across theirs, making them fall. Before they fell both max and Alex shifted. Max had a grey fury coat and Alex had a more blonde coat. I shifted into my dark reddish brown. They both tackled me, but I was lucky enough to slide out of it and throw Max one direction and Alex other direction.

"alright, Maria, Ally get in there. Emi shift change." Maria shifted into a white wolf. Almost like Parker's but she had brown spots everywhere. Ally's coat was dark chocolate, with a grey tint to it.

Alex stuck to Maria and Max stuck to Ally. They're were going to tackle me but before they could I shifted into my brown owl and flew up. I shifted while I was in the air, but this time I shifted into my jet black puma. And landed on all fours.

I ran into the trees a little and the guys followed me. I hide in the trees and when they couldn't find me I tackled the girls. And when I did the boys growled so lowly. And chased me back to the opening where parker and his parents and as well as my parents, were at.

I think Alex and max's wolves took over because I tackled their mates. They were out to get me.

"Boys control yourselves! This is only training!" Eric tried to stop them but they wouldn't listen. They were challenging me. I turned into my lioness and rawr'd telling them to back down. Surprisingly they did, and they shifted back"

The girls were behind Alex and Max already shifted back. I was about to shift but was something was off. Yeah I was tired but like it wasn't that kind of feeling. An arrow came flying out of the trees and was heading straight for Ally. I moved as fast I could and shifted right in front of Ally and took the blow. I took it right in the shoulder. I growled and ran into the woods to find who did it but when I got farther in I couldn't find a scent, so I just went back.

Parker came running up to me. "Emi! Oh my gosh are you ok? Lets get you to the infirmary." Everyone was crowding around me and telling me that I need to go to the infirmary.

I waved everyone off. I'm used to this kind of pain. Remember I've been on an island for 12 years and each year it was a different form of torture, getting me used to pain.

"I'm fine" I said grabbing the arrow I ripped it out of my shoulder. I put pressure on the wound.

"I just need a needles and some thread" I think parker called the doctor because the poor guy came running.

"what happened?" he saw me putting pressure on my shoulder.

"can I have a needle and thread?" he looked at me weird and then asked "are you sure you don't want me to do it?" I waved him off and grabbed the needle from his hand. I sat down and began to fix myself up.

"are you ok? That should have been me!" ally said running up to me.

"no its fine, I can handle a little arrow." Her eyes held guilt. I reassured her with a light smile.

"are we done today? Cause I want sleep, I'm pooped" Eric nodded his head and everyone proceeded in the pack house.

we all walked into the couch, and as soon as I hit the couch I passed out. I was so tired.
