"What?!?! He's quitting rock??" Kyoko's jaw dropped from the news Nanami gave her
Nanami nodded, "When I went to discuss his solo song with him, he decided not to sing a rock song, but something an idol would most likely sing...."
"No way...." Kyoko's shoulders slumped, "I mean.... there's no way that's possible!"
She looked down to the floor with mixed emotions, "Ranmaru really loves rock...."
"Kyoko-chan...." Nanami frowned slightly, "I'm sure he'll change his mind soon."
"Maybe, but...." Gripping her hands together tightly, she decided to look for Ranmaru herself
Nanami called out behind her, "Kyoko-chan?"
"Don't worry, I'm just gonna have a little talk with him." Kyoko huffed as she walked out the doors to go search for him
As she began looking around for Ranmaru, she noticed him talking on the phone and decided to intrude. "Ran!Ma!Ru!" Kyoko waved at him as she began to run up the hill where he stood at
Ranmaru noticed her and immediately hanged up his call after saying goodbye. After putting his phone in his pocket, Kyoko has just caught up to him.
"What is it, Kyoko?" Ranmaru questioned
She looked at him angrily as she began pinching and pulling on his cheeks, "What is wrong with you?!?"
"Ow!" Ranmaru flinched as he grabbed her hands away, "What are you talking about?!"
Kyoko pouted, "I heard that you were quitting rock music!"
"Yeah, so?" Ranmaru looked at her with unwavering eyes
"You idiot!" Kyoko yelled at him as she began to tear up, "Stupid Ranmaru!"
He was surprised when he felt her hands tremble, "Kyoko....?"
She forcefully pulled her hands away and didn't look at him in the eyes, "How can you give up on something you love so easily....??"
As she turned around to leave, Ranmaru put a hand on her shoulder, but she slapped it away, "Don't touch me. I don't want anything to do with you until you realize what you're doing."
Ranmaru watched her walk away from him as he rubbed his head with a sigh, "Until I realize what I'm doing.....?"
"What is she talking about?" He ran his hand through his hair as he began to walk away, "I do know what I'm doing...."
Later that night, Ranmaru looked at his bass that stood up on its stand and picked it up. He touched the strings one last time as he began putting it away in its case.
The next day, when Quartet Night were having their practice session, they all decided to take a break, except for Ranmaru.
He continued dancing as the other three members watched him.
"Heh~ Ran-Ran's really into it." Reiji smirked as he crossed his arms
Ai began to analyze his dancing, "His movements are 1.25 times sharper than normal."
"Has he finally learned to love Quartet Night?" Reiji smiled with hope
Camus huffed, "What a ridiculous fantasy."
"Myu-chan, you're so mean..." Reiji sweatdropped
Ai then spoke up, "It may be more than a fantasy."
"What?"
He looked at Reiji, "Ranmaru said that he'd give up rock to focus on Quartet Night."
"Give up rock...?"
