She watched the video again, tears streaming down her face. She listened closely to what he said. And she thought "This is it. the last time I'll hear his beautiful voice". She listened to how he spoke so fondly of her, the loving tender tone he used when he said her name. This was it. She knew they'd never speak again, knew that it was her fault and only hers. She was done, she couldn't take it any longer. Not without him. He who held her all night on the last Nightmare Night. He who had always been there to dry her tears. He was gone now. The angel had lost her shadow. This was the last night she would be without him. For it was on this nightmare night that hern nightmares would end. Once and for all. She had lost the one thing she couldn't live without. She lost her best friend.
