I can't believe that I lost him. He's all I had after my mom passed away. My mom passed away when I was just over 2 years old. I don't really remember much about her.
Since I didn't feel safe going home I decided to stay with my aunt.
We were in the car on our way to her house from the hospital and I couldn't help but cry. My aunt never said anything she just let me cry and let it all out.
As we pulled up to her house I stopped crying. I noticed someone standing out in front. I can't believe it! But there he was clear as day. My best friend and study buddy Emytt. We've been friends since I met him when he moved next door when I was 3. I love him. He's like the sister I never had but always wanted. I guess I forgot to mention that he's gay. Well he is and their is nothing wrong with that. Anyone who says otherwise is damn liar. I got out of the car and Emytt rushed up to me and said "I heard what happened and you know that if you ever need someone to talk to you can talk to me,". Him and I connect on a deeper level. The reason he moved was because his dad died and his mom thought that they needed a new start. "I know I just can't believe that he's gone," I say as I started to cry. "It's okay let it all out," Emytt said as he pulled me into a hug. I hugged him back. I was sobbing the entire time. After I was done sobbing Emytt wiped away my tears. "Thanks Emytt. I don't know what I'd do without you," I said. We walked inside. The kitchen smelled like cinnamon. Chessie must be baking snickerdoodles again. "Sorry about the mess, I was baking again, before I went to work," Chessie said. Knew it. She took the snickerdoodles out of the oven and they were perfect. She used her favorite spatula to scrape the cookies off of the tray and she out them on a rack to cool. "Would you guys like a couple?" She asked as she cleaned the kitchen. Emytt and I nodded. After they were cooled down enough so we could eat them. Between the two of us we had 4. 2 each. After we had our snack and the kitchen was cleaned up Chessie sent Emytt home. She wanted to talk about what has happened. I don't know what to expect.
