Waking up to the droning sound of an alarm at 5:30am was the worst thing to do on a Monday morning.Rubbing my still tired and sore eyes I slid out of bed and crawled my way to the bathroom to have a cold shower to wake me up.
After my shower I quietly crept into my little sisters room to wake her up for school. When I knew she was awake and getting into her uniform, I wandered downstairs to make us some toast that we can eat on our walk to school so we don't wake up Mother until later on when we get home from school.
Leaving the warm but dull house so early in the morning was a shock due to the cold, dampness that was hovering in the air but we sucked it up and went on with our journey slowly getting used to the cold but silently praying to get in the school heat. I dropped my adorable 7 year old sister of at her friends to get a lift to school as it is an hours drive away.
With a few minutes to spare I went into a cafe and ordered a toffee cappuccino to go because I needed some way to warm myself up and I hadn't had one in what felt like years.
Trudging my way through the school car park I shrunk myself down further into my coat to try and hide myself from Elizabeth & Co.
Elizabeth West is the schools most popular girl and it's obvious why. With her long bleach blonde hair, her gorgeous facial structure and not to mention her AMAZING! Body. Elizabeth is dating the schools bad boy, Lucas Edwards.
My god was Lucas handsome, his fluffy brown hair and blue/green eyes and perfect tanned body, he has all the girls hooked.
And then there's me. Abbie Laurence. I was nothing special, my light brown hair fell down to just below my shoulder blades, and my blue lifeless eyes only lit up when I see him. Harry Smith. The cutest guy I've ever laid eyes on with his dark brown hair and brown eyes.
I made my way to my locker to get my books out for my first few lessons. The school hallways were quiet and deserted as I was a few minutes early. Just how I like it, I had enough time to make it to my first lesson before everyone else starts arriving.
