Hey guys! Don't ask me what I'm about to do.
Description: Camille makes Kirsten go on a blind date with a guy in Camille's whatever-that-weird-topic-is class. (AU)
---
"Camille, I'm not doing this." Kirsten didn't even bother to look up from her laptop when she addressed her roommate. Blind dates weren't her thing - in fact, dates in general weren't Kirsten's thing.
"C'mon, Kirsten. This guy thinks he has a date tonight. With a hot girl. Even if you go, he's going to be disappointed. But it might hurt him more if he thought that a hot girl was actually coming and then no one showed up at all." Camille smirked when Kirsten shot her a dirty look. It was the brunette's one and only goal of the night to make Kirsten go on this date, but that didn't mean she couldn't poke at her annoying roommate while doing so.
"I'm not going," was Kirsten's response, but it wasn't enough to make Camille give up. But the fact remained that Camille had been doing this for hours, so she was prepared to offer her final word - the word that she knew would let her win the argument.
"Oh well then. Guess I'll be losing that bet with Danny."
Danny was Camille's current "boyfriend" of sorts. They sometimes hung out, but it was mostly just sex, and Kirsten was more than well aware of that. Kirsten really hated Danny, hated him even more than Camille. And the two girls had only one truce in life - if possible, you helped the other win whatever bet they entered. As of then, they had won fifteen bets in a row. Camille knew that Kirsten wasn't about to kill that streak.
"How big of a bet are we talking about?" Kirsten turned to look at Camille, curiosity and loyalty to the truce overtaking her.
Camille shifted on her feet for a moment, then answered with, "About three hundred bucks..."
At her words, Kirsten shut her laptop and stood up, turning around fully this time. "Alrighty then. Fix me up, Camille."
---
"You look great."
"I don't like it."
"You don't like anything."
Kirsten was totally displeased with her look. Camille had practically shoved the blonde into one of the tightest dresses from Camille's own closet, and then put her in three and a half inch heels. For make up, Kirsten had a smokey eye, with jet black eyeliner and mascara to match. Her lips were a matte red color, which was pretty much the only thing Kirsten liked. Beyond the horridness (or that's what Kirsten thought) of the outfit and make up, her blonde hair had been let down from it's normal ponytail and was now drifting down her neck and back in waves.
"I look wretched."
"No you don't. And use more of your excellent vocabulary like that. Cameron will love having a date with a smart girl." Camille smirked. Cameron was perhaps the biggest dork in L.A, a perfected mix between geek and nerd. She would be damned if she didn't think that Kirsten was the perfect girl for him - her roommate did act like a robot, after all.
A horn honked from outside, and Camille's face lit up like it was Christmas. "Okay! Now remember to smile, put a filter on, and try not to go all smart-alec on Cameron's ass!" Camille coaxed (more like forcefully moved with the strength of the Hulk, Kirsten would later recall) her roommate out of the house, to where Cameron was waiting with a car that didn't look like it belonged to a nerd.
A brunette stepped out of the car. He was tall, even compared to Kirsten, who was a tree compared to most girls. He had a smile on his face that told Kirsten how self-assured he was of himself. Not that that was entirely bad - she just as bad about having a big head.
With a small, tight-lipped smile, the blonde made her way over to Cameron, with Camille waving ecstatically from the house. Camille watched as her roommate avoided Cameron's help while getting in the car, and noticed Cameron's slightly annoyed yet slightly happy face. Aw, she thought, he's already in love!
Camille started to go for Danny's number, then decided to wait on the bet. When Danny found out what he owed, the brunette was going to need to see his face for herself.
fin.
What's that? I did a horrible job at writing Camsten because it's barely Camsten at all? Idk, it's a start. Let us throw caution to the wind and whatnot. P.S - the title is "Blind Date" in braille.
