My head was pounding and my stomach was growling. My throat became under the attack of another fit of coughs. To top it all off my nose was running like a fountain. My limp body sat slumped on the couch with a box of tissues and a cup of tea now cooled by time. I curled up with the small blanket on the couch watching re-runs of Glee. I'd been waiting forever for Cry to come back from Pewdiepie's house. They had been filming gameplay together but that didn't stop Cry from constantly calling me on the phone checking up on me. He always hates leaving me alone when I'm sick, but Pewd's really wanted to hang out.
I laid my head against the couch closing my eyes, almost drifting off to sleep. I was awakened by the sound of a door opening. Cry must've thought I was sleeping because he tried to close the door as softly as he could and tip toe by me.
"Hey sweetie," I mumbled, turning my head to face him. His deep voice was a welcoming sound to my ears.
"Oh sorry baby I didn't mean to wake you up," he apologized, walking over to the couch. He placed a brown paper bag down by his feet.
He sat down and patted his lap signaling for me to lay with him. I attempted to lift my body up but my arms gave away and I collapsed in a heap onto the couch.
"Sorry babe I didn't realize how weak you were," he muttered into my ear as he picked me up with ease. Worry was clearly shown on his face. I gave him a weak smile trying to assure him I was okay.
"Do you want some soup?" he asked reaching down to pull out chicken noodle soup from the bag by his feet. I nodded my head and he pulled me into sitting position on his lap. I went to pick up a spoonful but my hand was shaking. He slipped it from my grasp and began feeding me. I would normally be embarrassed by this but Cry had a way of making me feel special in his arms. When I was full Cry put the rest back in the bag and positioned himself on the couch with me on his chest.
I linked my air in his, cuddling into his chest. I stroked his subtle muscles sighing in content. I had waited all day for him and he was finally here with me. He was all I ever wanted and our love was something special.
"This show again?" he chuckled deeply. His laugh always sent shivers down my spine.
"You know you like it babe, don't lie." I replied, turning to smile into his beautiful dark blue eyes. I swear I could stare into them for days and never run out of words to describe them.
"Not as much as I like you," he added, softly planting a kiss in my lips.
"You probably don't want to do that." I sighed even though I enjoyed the kiss.
"You're worth catching a cold over baby." he said as his lips turned up in a smile. His eyes twinkled with adoration.
He fixed the blanket over the two of us and formed a protective circle around my limp body. He began stroking my hair softly and my eyes fluttered shut. I sighed into his chest and ran my fingers down his stomach. Right before I finally gave into sleep I heard Cry whisper something against my hair.
"I love you baby. More than you could ever know."
With his loving words I finally gave in and fell asleep in his strong arms. What did I ever do to deserve such a loving man?
